I decided to play Sonic Mania and made it to the last level. Some of these levels are just annoying as hell to play through, including the last one. The music also sucks compared to the OG trilogy.

The game is universally praised for level design and music

Plus, 75% of the songs from the game are FROM the Genesis games

I’m not saying the game is bad, I just found some of the levels annoying and a bit too long for a Sonic game. Also aside from Flying Battery and Chemical Plant remixes, I didn’t find the music to be memorable. Where’s Aquatic Ruins, Casino Night and Ice Cap Zone themes? Those joints were all bangers!

Search Amazon for the "amFilm" brand tempered glass protectors. They come in a 2 pack for like $10 and work perfectly. Also have the notches and everything. I've had mine since release day.

Latest Nintendo Switch Online app update seemingly continues preparations for SNES games

The supported platforms for the Nintendo Switch Online service could be expanding in the future. Just a few days ago, fans datamined what appeared to be references to various SNES games. Some additional information has since surfaced.

The Nintendo Switch Online app was updated again yesterday, making a few new games available to subscribers. However, that apparently wasn’t all. New languages were added for SNES descriptions such as Spanish for Super Mario Kart.

Here’s a look at the rundown of existing language descriptions currently, which is speculated to be the SNES launch lineup:




Mario All-Stars is said to be an outlier since it only has a description in Japanese and Italian. Also, all localized descriptions in the January update shown above were not included in the December update, which shows that Nintendo is continuing preparations for SNES support.
