Hyrule Warriors Set for Summer 2014 Release in Japan, Tecmo Koei Teases Another Major Collaboration

1000

Quite a few major gaming companies are revealing their financial results today, one of which is Tecmo Koei. It had some positive news all around, and in an update likely to bring sighs of relief from Japanese Wii U owners confirmed that Hyrule Warriors — a name that may yet change — is set for a Summer release in the country. It's unclear whether it'll land on Western shores in a similar time-frame.
That's certainly a close release considering the fact that we've seen nothing of the title since its surprise reveal in December last year; with the development evidently nearing its end, we'd hope that it will have a notable presence at E3 next month. In the same investor briefing, meanwhile, it was teased that a major new collaboration will follow this Zelda release, with details expected in the latter half of the year. No details were given, though the company has expressed an eagerness to move onto PS4 and Xbox One with some future projects, so it's up in the air whether this is a project for Nintendo fans to anticipate. Nevertheless, both companies are no doubt hoping for big things from the upcoming Zelda-meets-Dynasty-Warriors experience.

Pokemon silver might be my alltime fav game period. I played emerald for the first time this year. I was sleep.

NINTENDO HAS APPARENTLY SPENT OVER $100 MILLION ON MYSTERY TECH ACQUISITION
MAY 7, 2014

Senior Research Analyst David Gibson has revealed on Twitter that Nintendo has apparently spent over $100 million on a mystery tech acquisition. Gibson says there’s no word as to what the acquisition was for, but it could be related to the forthcoming Quality of Life product which Nintendo has confirmed they’re developing.

Thanks, David

Wonder what they have in store? November needs to get here. Wouldn't be mad if they remade red and blue again so I can see kanto in 3d

I would just prefer it to have updated graphics like this upcoming Ruby/Sapphire...oh well. I already have a big backlog, not really hurting for anything new to play

FIRST LOOK AT POKEMON OMEGA RUBY & ALPHA SAPPHIRE FOR NINTENDO 3DS COMING SUNDAY
MAY 9, 2014

Japanese children variety show Pokemon GetTV will be showing off the first footage of Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire this Sunday on the Nintendo 3DS. Pokemon GetTV starts at 7.30AM JST which is 11.30pm in the United Kingdom. I’m sure someone will upload the footage on Youtube, so I’ll be sure to post it.

Japan : Sunday @ 7.30AM
Europe : Sunday @ 12.30AM (11.30PM on Sunday for UK)
US East : Saturday @ 6.30PM
US West : Saturday @ 3.30PM

Own every Pokemon game ever released including the mystery dungeon series. Always been lowkey with my Pokemon obsession but like fire red/leaf green and Soul silver/Heart Gold, Alpha and Omega will be copped even though the hoenn region is eh...

And I'm all in for the Mario Kart 8 tourney. But I'll warn you guys, I'm really good

Found my SNES while going through and cleaning up the storage in the garage.

I don't have regular tube TV anymore, only an LED HDTV. Are there any good HDMI converters that are compatible with the SNES? I want to play my SNES on my HD TV.
