Thanks. I didn't know whether to make it against a black background or a white background. I was also thinking about using a Danica wallpaperas the background but I just opted for the white. It turned out ok.

anyone know how to edit the text, its shifting strangely....

after i saved it it wouldnt let me move the text anymore.

2nd one. The first has some jerky looking movement in it.

I never got an answer on how to optimize avys in photoshop cs4. Anyone?
edit: If youre using ulead, dont save it as a gif file, save it as the 2nd file type. Thats the one that saves it as a project file and not a gif file.

You can't remove the text once you save it

and you should've cut it down some more frames IMO

To answer your question about the avy appearance, it looks like the quality has been compromised to fit your 56 frames in. It could be better butsince you're just starting out, you'll learn and get better and better.

You can't move the text anymore. What I do is to keep Ulead open (even though I saved the avy already) until I know that's how I want the avy to looklike... or you can also just save your avy before you put the text in so you can add in your text again if you don't like the way it looks.

74 frames? Cut it down to < 50 frames. It should improve the color of the avy. Also, why is it 120x120? Are you going to resize it later?

Paul if i get the frames i want on ulead can i transfer the gif to photoshop to add borders

Yeah, save it as an .mov file so you can import it in PS.

On PS CS3, go to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers.

Yeah, I meant it appears very grainy... not color. My mistake.
