Nike NBA Apparel and Jersey Thread: 2017-18 NBA Season Takeover

I think I may try them out. I want just something that will last and perform well. Figured might as well go for what the pros got

Authentic shorts are definitely great quality and would be way better for hooping than the swingman jersey no question

The fit on them is a little awkward though
Specifically in the crotch area
Seems like tts is a little too tight but if you go up it’ll be too big
Def try them on or buy 2 different sizes to save yourself some trouble

Agreed with floodarea. I’ve tried both, and S in swingman are much better for me for playing than any of the authentics I tried (34, too tight in the waist. 38, OK in waist but too long and baggy all around in both Celtics and Bulls). Plus, you can grab two swingman for the price of one authentic. They’re thicker and I think they’ll hold up just find in the long term.

I had a dream that the Pistons store started selling all four authentic jerseys last night, that's how badly I want it to happen, lmao. Instead the only authentic that's available is the blue road jersey, aka the most boring of their four jerseys, and it's $250. Ugh.

So I'm slowly talking myself into biting the bullet and buying an away Pistons authentic from the NBA Store since that's the only one available.

Do all authentics come with the gold neck tag if the team has one? The Pistons have one but the mock-up on NBAStore.com doesn't show it (and it also shows the swingman mockup for the back of the jersey but the authentic mockup for the front of the jersey.

I just want to make sure I'm going to get the gold neck tag if I buy the authentic. Please advise.

If they had a nba championship in the past, then yea they will have gold stamp on back of collar... honestly it’s one of my favorite features of authentics

Just on the shorts again-

I wound up going up a size and I don't mind the fit.

It is important to note that the inseam length for all sizes is 9 inches. So while there may be some variability in length due to just overall size, they should all be pretty close to the same length

Bodega came through nicely with the Kyrie jersey. Said it before, but wish that parquet pattern was more noticeable but I do like the Red Auerbach signature, thought it'd be sewn but its rubberized which is a nice touch. I gotta take a break from jerseys for a while now
Thanks to @sakdogg815 for the heads up on the Bodega link!

Magic team store seems to be best in the league as far as offerings to date:

This jersey is hard as ****. Reminds me of the mid 90s when they started going crazy and people hated them. One of the few jerseys Nike got right this year.

When and where do the City Edition jerseys drop? I'm trying to get a Knicks City Edition off Swoosh but Nike doesn't have ****.

Anyone know where to get that Kyrie authentic in a 58? Euro has them but who knows when they will come in stock.

Really wish they did more with the All Star jerseys. Take a risk, man. Last thing we need is a plain Jordan tank top with a team logo on it

...I'll prob cop the t shirt tho

the name logos and number only logos are terrible , i only dig creative logos like bucks-orlando or even the town warriors shirt/jerseys
