1. Username to post is redundant at this point.
2. You asked “does Nike know how to make shoes?” like this is their first model or something. Come on son.
3. You really running in Ultra Boost? I heard there’s better options. Not talking ****, seriously asking.

Are you wearing no shows to run? Imo ultra boost is not even a good running shoe i’d go with some kayanos or brooks

Like most running shoes you should break in the vapormax before you run in them in order to prevent blisters

lol, yup. But so are ultra boosts. Unless you're running in the mall or in public since that's the only place I see people wear those two shoes.
Both models definitely fall more into the lifestyle category more than performance

But i wouldn't call anyone delusional for using a shoe that is marketed as a running shoe for running

Anyone who thinks vapormax were made for running is delusional.

They are 100% a running shoe. Just because you wouldn't run in them doesn't mean it's not a runner. Is it the best runner? Depends on what you want in a shoe when you run.

Vapormax is essentially an air max sole with half the weight. I love an air max sole because it's firm and I'm heavy on my heels. Feels great for daily use. Is that what I want in a runner? No, air max and vapor max are too high off the ground for my personal preference. Feels almost like your running in cleats and I like having 'ground feel'. I prefer a Pegasus or vomero due to its foam missile and zoom units in the heel and forefoot (nike best tech IMO).

Unless you have tried different running shoes or have gotten "fitted" at a niketown for what runner is best then you'll never know. But to say the vapormax isn't for running is a blatantly incorrect statement. I believe there are several lengthy review posts in this thread by the same guy who has logged many, many miles in his vapormax and gives a very detailed and knowledgeable review.

I've seen more people wearing Jordan's on the street then on the courts, does that suddenly make them not a basketball shoe anymore? Same concept.

It might seem like more lifestyle now because runners are in but its still a performance shoe. It has a signature box so its meant for performance. General rule of thumb for nike, if it has a signature box or its orange its for performance. If it's a red box it's completely for lifestyle purposes.

Ultra's are not the best for running I will admit, but at least they dont give me problems or pain, I would like to try the vaporfly 4%
