You guys who like the 2010s, that's great. You would have loved it when they sat for 99.99 back then. Most people still passed because they looked like a sorry attempt by JB to capture on the desire for a retro while still keeping their powder dry for a true retro. When the Infra pack, you had mad people complaining they weren't different enough from the Varsity pairs that just dropped less than a year prior. (And, you could have stock located those for $199 too!).

Now, they drop a white infra and people complain that they are way different.

Then, you have a bunch of people crying foul because they are "pink" ...I'm sure I decided to sell some South Beach 8s, none of you guys would want them, right?

NT always bringing the LOLz,. ...I enter the JB forum about once every four months, and every time I do, I'm reminded within two minutes why I never come here.

Yup! Reading through pages of bickering and nonsense, you can tell that some people never owned a pair of Infrared AM90s. The outrage over infrared…bet if these were limited to 25k pairs, you wouldn't hear a peep about the infrared. The only issue I have with these is Jordan brands usual concrete leather.

I thought this leather was actually a bit better than the crap used last year, of course its not even close to the IR23s but this was atleast a step in the right direction to me.
 
LOL I have the 2014s and the 2010s. No way you can call he 2010s infrared. Those are straight red and not bright at all. Those are just about as red as any other Jordan typical colorway

i guess ill just repost these pics. clearly shows OGs had a pinkish hue to them

edit: Also notice that these pics were taken in dark lighting, IMAGINe how much these would have popped in the sun

Perfect pic. Repped. This clearly shows the OGs INFRARED looks nearly identical to the 2014's. Everytime i see this pic the better i feel about copping these 6s.

that inner sole.... i havent even looked but I doubt that we got the infrared inner sole on this release. thats weak.

the inner sole is infrared in the 2014s actually (im pretty sure). JB really did everything they could to make the OG crowd happy (except NA branding of course). but some will never be satisfied

SMH.If you dont like the color,move on.

Also please keep that mindset and dont buy the black infrareds as well.More for me :)

Every clear sole yellows, Thats part of buying the shoe. People try dying their hair and use Rogaine to reverse age. People try getting Botox to reduce aging, and end up messing up their faces even more. I'm one of those people that say, "accept aging and wear it well." Embrace the yellow!!!!! Cause you cant stop it!!! 10 years from now, you will be considered an semi-O.G.!!
 
Ok so I have a size 11 I bought off of Eastbay. I used them yesterday and realized they fit really loose. Anyone know the return policy? I wanna buy a 10.5 on the 28th restock.
 
Alright... here's my 2 cents...

The following statements are posted solely for educational purposes and are not meant to argue with anyone.  The following is solely my own opinion.  If you still hate the shoes after this post, that is fine.  I don't care.

So, I decided to get the 2014 white/infrared 6's after seeing them in person yesterday and realizing that they are not as pink as I thought.

I happen to own OG black/infrared 6's that I purchased my freshman year in college (yes, I'm old) and only wore twice.  Obviously, the first thing I did when I got home was to pull out my OG's to compare.  Much to my delight, I noticed that the infrared is almost identical.  The OG's seem to be a bit darker, but, this could be attributed to the fact that they are 23 years old.

I am not a photographer, by any means, and I do not have a professional camera, however, I have taken pics with the HD setting on my iPhone and did my best with the lighting.  Here they are, for what it's worth.

PS: for that certain someone who called me a "noob" earlier in another thread... please see my OG 6's for reference.  And there's more where that came from.

One question, how drastic is the quality / cushion difference?

Just comparing these to my DMPs, they get blown to pieces. :lol still happy though
