Somebody needs to bump that draft thread. I tried to tell yall. Remember a lot of people in here said he was going to be a bust because he didn't have any talent around him in STL and his OLine would get him killed.

My comment was to you Gunnar but to the dirty comment earlier...I'm not saying that I'm not in far of hanging the rules but until the NFL starts enforcing things these hits will happen and people will enjoy seeing them in highlites. You are right though its only a matter of time till something really bad happens

Phillips hit him hard down the stretch, I was surprised he got back up so quickly.

Dez wanted no parts of going over the middle when the cowboys needed that first down

meriweather is on the radio right now. he doesn't seem to think he did anything wrong, which is a problem. im ALL for big hits and what not, but if you can't restrain yourself from helmet to helmet, you need to sit down. belichick benched him, but was forced to play him later on once our third string safety left with an injury. suspensions need to happen when things like this occur.

also, for those that didn't see the pats ravens game, meriweather tried to go high on heap earlier in the game too, but he missed, and so his arm and chest ended up hitting heap in the head. he has a habit of leading with his head and exploding up. needs to be corrected by belichick or someone.

and then the sophmore slump occurs ... kid has played a handful of games ... he will continue to get better ...

and like others have said ... that was the dumbest attempt at a tackle .. that is what he's supposed to do ...

... launch himself into heap when he didn't have the ball ... where did u learn the game of football
