My post was overall, not just Stafford
Your post was inaccurate tho. I have no problem giving credit, no problem at all.
Eli Manning has started 152 games. He's thrown 173 interceptions.
:x
I remember when people consistently put him ahead of Ben and Phillip. Love that he had his two runs but just hasn't had the number of quality years as them IMO
No question about it, he played great last night. Absolutely.
And the throw was beautiful. Zero doubt. Perfectly placed.
But credit? No. It was an atrocious decision.
People can't mock Tony Romo throwing the direction he's going, to a man who appears open only to have a great LBer make a great play, then praise Stafford throwing the wrong direction, to a double covered receiver, with momentum going the opposite way.
Both were poor decisions, but with completely different results.

CP this post further proves my point. It would have been a dumb mistake by 90% of the QBs in the league. But again Stafford has the arm and the skill to be able to make that throw. Calvin is an amazing receiver, but Matt makes those plays possible for him.
agreeedMatt Stafford is a solid QB but he's definitely inflating his stats off the strength of Megatron.
If Roger really wants to punish the cowboys he gives Jerry a pass.
Jerry jones is probably the most annoying person ever
you could say matt stafford threw calvin open. not many QBs have the strength to put the ball in the place matt did while rolling the opposite direction.
i do get chester's point though. it's not a "fundamental' throw, and had the result been different we'd talk about the play differently

He definitely threw him open, still required a great catch. I don't get what there is to argue, we should just appreciate the play.
What I don't get is flashing back to last year to Russell's great throw on the run to Sydney Rice guys are saying "not impressive he was wide open" and now we got Stafford making an even better play to someone who was far from open and now it's "not a fundamental throw could have been picked. Seems like an extremely pessimistic way to watch football.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
If Jones gets got for this, does this qualify under Roger's new policy?
Cuz if so, I expect about 300,000 lawsuits to hit Jerry's desk soon, Cowboy fans tryin to get rid of the man.

If that stripper's related to Romo it would explain how he played Sunday.
