Who cares if it's fair to him?  It's smarter in my opinion.  It's not a halfway rebuild, they're doing a full rebuild but leaving Rex there to placehold.  It's like when OKC hired P.J. Carlesimo as their first coach knowing they'd just fire him 2 years later when they had built some talent.

it's not a full rebuild if guys like Cromartie are still around, why aren't they making more trades to stockpile picks? This is a halfway rebuild and the Jets will find a way to spin this and say they will be a competitive team despite having garbage on the field. How are they even going to sell tickets.

You can't compare NBA and NFL coaching...if you are going to do a full rbuild and go young in all areas, change the coaching staff as well.

I think so, too. If he does stick around it'll def. be for less money than expected. Add in that he'll be turning 29 before the start of this season it's definitely looking that way.

If I had to guess, pecking order for big extensions will start with Thomas, Okung, then Sherman.

I don't have a huge problem losing Golden. He was good down the stretch but he's still undersized and does drop balls sometimes.

Looks like Nike is really branding each team. Just off fonts and the numbers. So many times teams would get new jerseys and have the same block numbers. Dolphins doesn't look too different. But the numers make it stand out.

could you imagine jamarus getting 31 mil not to play with detroits economy failing at that time ? i think the fans would of revolted on the team with that move .
