The Dallas Cowboys and Washington ******** still have to determine the NFC East champion. But we already know next week's playoff schedule.
In a rematch of last year's Saturday AFC wild card game, NBC will broadcast the Cincinnati Bengals heading to Houston to Face the Texans at 4:30 pm ET. This time around, the Texans are limping into the playoffs.
Another rematch will finish air in primetime on Saturday night. Adrian Peterson's Vikings will head to Lambeau field for a rubber match against the Green Bay Packes at 8 pm ET. If it's anything like Sunday's instant classic, we are in for a treat.
Sunday's slate will start in Baltimore. Chuck Pagano will bring his Indianapolis Colts to face his former employers at 1 pm ET on CBS. It's been a ridiculous ride for Pagano and rookie Andrew Luck. The Colts showed on Sunday against Houston that they are ready to beat playoff competition.
The final game of the weekend will feature the NFC East winner hosting the Seahawks at 4:30 pm ET on FOX. Pretty sweet slate.
The NFL also announced the times of the Divisional Round games. On Saturday, January 12th, the Denver Broncos will host the lowest remaining AFC seed at 4:30 pm ET on CBS, while the San Francisco 49ers will start their playoff adventure at 8 pm ET on the same day.
The Atlanta Falcons will try to avoid going one and done at 1 pm ET on Sunday, January 13th. The No. 2 seed in the AFC New England Patriots will finish off the weekend at 4:30 pm. on the same day.
Next Saturday can't get here soon enough.
Stupid decision there by dallas
Dallas also had guys getting off the field late.
I think they shouldve attempted the FG, theyre playing not to lose and leaving possible pts on the field.
It wouldve been a hard kick but they should stay agressive instead of trying to make a perfect punt.
OR you can punt it with 38 seconds left, instead of risking a miss and setting Washington up at mid field. Dallas made the right call.
Denver won their division last year with Tim Tebow. Minnesota would have maybe 3 wins without AP.great season by ap but manning is getting that mvp. minnesota with the sixth spot is what kills ap's chances.
Its all perspective
This could be a close game, any chance at points shouldnt be taken lightly....i just prefer an aggressive coaching style i guess , i doubt Belichick punts in that situation.
