They were talking about how Haley isn't in the HoF on ESPN earlier today.

10 division titles in 12 years
6 division championship games out of 7
100.5 sacks
The ONLY person with 5 rings all from playing.

They say they think it is because he wasn't "nice" to reporters so they aren't voting him. A real shame if that is true.

I came in to post that Walter Jones stat too..

"He was whistled for holding only nine times in 5,703 pass plays, and allowed only 23 sacks during his entire career."

Dungy will get there eventually and hopefully Lynch down the road.

Tim Brown isn't in either!

So a lot of times the "hero" types who are built up in sports are really not that in restrospect.  Some of them were out and out scumbags like George Allen or James Naismith.

Vince Lombardi was truly an amazing dude though.  Anti-racist, anti-homophobic when most coaches in the NFL today haven't even reached that level of tolerance.
