Didn't realize people were still seein the Orang Crush Defense being out there for the Broncos. Silly me.

I like the fact that we're lining up and playing without trying to disguise everything . When your plan is to rely on tricking the smartest player in football, you're putting yourself in a dangerous position.

with the weapons that peyton has, if you're not disguising coverage, he knows where he's going with the ball and it's gone right away. no chance. too many weapons to cover.

but I'm rooting for seattle. so good luck with that plan.

strong post to avi/sig ratio.

I think when you line up and play straight up, the strategy is not to beat Peyton but to beat their linemen and their WRs.

Don't know if that will work, but I'm hopeful.

Yeah.

That's fine, but I'm referring to continual reasoning for people picking the Broncos being that they have too many weapons. I want more than that!!!

:lol You want more for what? This ain't rocket science.

People are giving same reasons for picking Seattle. "Defense wins championships" "Their DB's, whatever whatever".

Other people, sure, but not me. I have mentioned some of those reasons, but also stated why and gave examples of other things.

Having more weapons isn't a good reason when the opposition is fully equipped to match up with each and every receiver. It's misinformation or simply not knowing enough about the other team.

Seattle is not stopping all those receivers and Moreno. They match up well but I don't see it happening.

And Seattle's offense is being overlooked for a reason. Lynch does his thing but what else is their to talk about?

I'm curious how the crowd breaks down in terms of how many fans are there for each team.

I live in Seattle, so it's skewed, but I feel like everyone is going to this game. Two coworkers and numerous acquaintances. I'm sure it seems the same in Denver, but i'm just wondering how well this 12th man really does travel.

Percy, baby!

:)

But really. Seattle receivers don't drop passes like the Denver receivers do. Seattle had the least amount of drops in the NFL. The names don't jump out, but Golden Tate, Baldwin and Kearse will come down with it. Tate is still deceptively elusive.

thoughts on the lights being too bright for the young seattle guys?

Well i will say this i was in phillys airport earlier today and theres a ton of seattle fans with they jerseys on they way to nyc and i dont mean a couple more like a fball team and the gate agent stated theyve been dropping through since 8am :x

I don't think we give the new uniforms enough credit in terms of the reinvigoration of Seahawk football.

I give the nike magic like a solid 45%.

I lived in Seattle for a few years in the late 90s. You didn't see a lot of Seahawk gear being rocked. The jerseys/gear was ugly and the team was poor.

I went to Seattle this past summer and every corner you saw at least two people in a new jersey, it was insane. I think the new jersey and logo is a big part of why people outside of Seattle are wearing the gear but it doesn't hurt that the team has been great the last two seasons.

Super Bowl fun facts:

Fox and PC were both assistance coaches at ISU at one point.
1984 and 1978 respectively.

Iowa State has had some big names come through including Jimmy Johnson. Shockingly, none of them came back to be the head coach.

A big part of the "12th Man" is the way the stadium is built. Giants stadium isn't built close to that way and there won't be more than 30-35% Seattle fans there if they're lucky. Peyton will have plenty of fans there and then you'll have at least 20% rich people and suits that just go because they can.

So the "12th Man" is non existent in New Jersey on Sunday

The Super Bowl won't be loud, because yore right about the %s. but I remember Chris Carter & Irvin saying the Kingdome was the loudest dome as well. It's not all the stadium by any measure.

I went to the Kingdome, it was loud. Pretty much all football stadiums are loud though. They said on Fox a few weeks ago the way the new stadium is built, it projects noise so much louder off certain sides and angles it towards certain sections. It was pretty crazy what they were saying. There was some serious thought behind that stadium unlike the new Giants stadium. What a dump.
