I doubt they move the Super Bowl

It was such a stupid idea to do it NY to begin with

The experience built no bond between Jacobs and Jim Harbaugh. That was made quite clear when Jacobs was asked about the 49ers  coach during a radio appearance in New York on Thursday morning.

"He is a b---- and that's why he hasn't won anything," Jacobs told WFAN-AM.

Don't see us get anymore snow here on the east coast, show will go on as normal. Wonder if they'd ever consider Baltimore as a Super Bowl host.

I agree with the idea of having the SB in New Jersey outdoors being doomed from the jump but no way these weather guru's can predict mother nature more than 4 days out, at most, so there's no way I see the NFL moving this game outside of maybe a little delay... too much invested in it at this point.

I don't at all, I think it's fantastic. Bring on the weather. Will be great for the game to look like a real football game, and it will be great to see the corporate bigwigs who keep real fans out suffering in the cold.

All this hand-wringing will turn out for naught. Reminds me of the World Cup being in South Africa and hearing for months that "third world countries can't handle this" only for it to be one of the best venues ever.

Some of you gals are funny, complaining about weather for a Super Bowl and now if they move the game it's a conspiracy to let Peyton win!

Right now, the weather stands at 35 and cloudy on Saturday and 35 with a 30% chance of a dusting on Friday.

I want the SB back to indoor or warm weather sites just so I don't ever have to hear the weather discussed this often ever again. It's so tired and overplayed...and has been for months

i'm cool with warm weather locations, but the game should never be played indoors IMO

They should have it in Tampa again

Good climate outdoors and now snow chance in Feb.

Not like I am biased or anything...

This man Fred Davis must not care about fame, $$, or wasting his talent :{

Reported: Fred Davis faces six game suspension

Posted by Mike Florio on January 24, 2014, 10:27 AM EST

As ******** tight end Fred Davis prepares to hit the free-agent market, he’ll be dealing with a complication that could significantly affect his value.

Davis faces a six-game suspension under the substance-abuse policy, via Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports.

A six-year veteran, Davis tore an Achilles’ tendon while playing under the franchise tag in 2012. He re-signed with Washington on a one-year deal in 2013, but he was inactive for six games and started only three.

In 2011, Davis served a four-game suspension under the substance-abuse policy. A six-game suspension suggests that Davis remained in Stage Two of the program following his 2011 violation.

Broncos linebacker Von Miller served a six-game suspension to start the 2013 season as a negotiated compromise to an effort to suspend Miller much longer than that, based on allegations that he conspired with the sample collector to generate negative test results.

With or without the suspension, Davis isn’t expected to attract major attention in free agency. A team could choose to bring him in for the offseason program, training camp, and the preseason, confident that the preparation will make it easier to adapt after the suspension ends.

It’s unclear whether Davis a filed an appeal, and when a ruling is expected. Before the suspension is finalized, any information about a player’s status in the substance-abuse program is supposed to be kept confidential.

I hate bad weather games but I do like the added drama of the weather.

I wish they would just rotate the Super Bowl around the league.

And it is f'ing zero degrees out. Get that garden talk outta here.

Can't wait for spring

i dont think too many people empathize with dez.. hell, i think a fair amount of people think he's part of the problem

I don't enjoy watching dome football. Agree with DA.

thought I was the only one who felt like this

I hate watching championships or bowl games inside

LA, Miami, San Fran, Tampa, San Diego, heck even Jacksonville turned out to be a good loaction for the SB

These should be the go to options for a SB

Im all for SBs in historical spots or new stadiums every once in a while!!! Like a SB in Green Bay

I think the chances of weather truly having a big impact on the game itself is slimmer than most are led to believe. For one, predictors of the weather always overexaggerate in order to get ratings. Even moreso now that the Super Bowl "hinges" on it.

I also see all the snow coming in around the game. Come game time it will probably just be cold with a few flurries. That's not bad. The NFL is just concerned about the loss of money that will be generated if the capacity isn't fulfilled. Honestly, I couldn't care any less about that.
