Still glad about how Sherm stuck it to Harbaugh, that plus Crab & going to the SB woulda had me doing Rick Flair rants in the post game interview
The Twitter war was entertaining.

Crabby's response. Then Sherm with the ether, "A lion doesn't concern himself with the opinion of a sheep."

I just read that the Jaguars will be damn near $52 million under the cap going into next season, and the Raiders will have close to $70 million to spend. :eek

and will both find a way to **** it all up...

saw sherman brought up hockey as a means of pointing out how others aren't call thugs or goons. he is 100% incorrect anyone who watches hockey knows the guys sent out to fight are OFTEN called thugs.

granted, i get his point about how people are using "thug" with a totally different intention (which he is probably spot on about)...but bringing up hockey and fighting is a poor example.

Jaguars:
Draft your franchise QB, Henne and Gabbert are not the answer. Bortles has "local ties," if that matters. Probably doesn't after all the rumored Tebow banter. Bridgewater falling would be huge for the franchise but unlikely. Must consider Manziel, exciting style of football to electrify a stagnant fan base.

Or restock your entire offensive line after trading Monroe and drafting Joeckel. Trade back and secure Matthews, former A&M teammates. Two stud bookend tackles and Matthews is better, more comfortable on the right.

Receivers are solid with a "clean" Blackmon and healthy Shorts.

I don't know where to start defensively. At a loss for words for the player personnel in the secondary. Losing Cox is seemingly a blessing in disguise, he's played like trash since moving to San Diego. Cyprien secures one starting spot as a safety. Could consider Colvin middle to late rounds for value post-injury. Or a guy like Huff who is perfect for the Seahawks mold of DB's.

I like Hageman a lot to fill the DT hole, but it's unlikely Jacksonville has the resources or assets to select him unless they trade back into the mid to late first.

thoses dudes on the ice are 'enforcers' for a reason. They aren't on the 4th line to score goals :lol

I think the context was more to say "that's a way for an athlete to really act like a thug compared to what I did".  I see your point though.  Hockey is one of the few places where white people are regularly called thugs.

I never heard hockey players called thugs before.

there's a short list for you

disclaimer: a lot of those guys aren't even dirty players...yet someone found them to be worthy of the tag

Matt Cooke was called a thug all the time. Regardless the term didn't fit the Sherman situation and people that used it were wrong. I called out many on Facebook about it

Should have never changed it to a draft.

Should have left it how it was. They're never going to make the Pro Bowl "exciting". There's no real way to make it better. It's an ASG, its never going to be a great watch. It is what it is.
