Seattle's O does leave something to be desired (especially the WR corps), plus they're not the same team when they're not playing at home. Those are a few factors that go against them.
The cold weather thing is the most overblown myth in recent NFL history. I'm going to keep this civil and bow out now. However, if you Seattle fans truly think that secondary is going to easily hold down all those Denver weapons, you're in for a rude awakening in two weeks. May the best team win as I have no beef with Seattle. I have a feeling it's Denver's year tho.
I usually wouldn't entertain a comment like this but out of curiosity, what exactly reeks of back up SN? The fact that I have a differing opinion than you and possibly the majority of the people who comment in this thread?Who are you really this reeks of back up SN

FYI, nah, this is my one and only SN
Denver is the greatest offense ever, we get it.
Note to self, it just takes one bad game to lose the Superbowl. Seattles defense and rushing attack is amazing. If they force a turnover or two that could decide the game.
cold weather favors them as well
San Diego is a divisional rival. Yeah, Denver lost to them at home. Then, when it counted, what happened? Maybe you need a refresher. Didn't Seattle lose at home to their divisional rivals, the Arizona Cardinals...who didn't make the playoffs? I'm not even sure what points you're trying to make. As I count it, Denver lost at home once to a playoff divisional rival and Seattle lost at home once to a non-playoff divisional rival...Opinion? You talking as if Denver is invincible as a fact. Maybe you need a refresher. They lost 3 games this season, just like Seattle. Lost at home to a Charger team that squeaked into the playoffs. What makes you so sure Lynch won't run over that Denver defense?
Cruise to a ring?? I don't know about that. It's sad how wack the superbowl is going to be, Denver is going to cruise to a ring.
I agree with all of this. At the end of the day the only team that can matchup with Broncos are the Ravens, even with our secondary issues in the begininng of the season with new pieces we were leading at the half. The second half was another story but again we gave the Broncos all types of fits. And last season we just out grinded them. Seahawks will fare well but at the end of the day Manning with two weeks of preparation on that defense is not good for the Hawks.I think a lot of people are under selling Denver's depth and Peyton Manning's ability to find the weak link on defense. Every team has a weak link somewhere on the field, it's just how it is in football.
Plus, with the way the league is being maintained--The offense will always have the advantage. Don't get me wrong, Seattle is a first class defense and probably the toughest test the Broncos will face all year long. This is by no means a "swing" in one direction.
If Seattle can bring the pressure to Peyton, they will probably win the Super Bowl. That recipe isn't anything new. Look at all the great QB's we're seen in the NFL in the past decade. No matter how good a QB is, if you can pressure him and make him hurry his throws--there will be a mistake to be made. Seattle actually has the personnel to do this.
The game will be a lot closer than what people think. Russell Wilson will move around in the pocket, because of all the pass rushers out for the Broncos. Denver needs to contain Wilson and also stop the run game. Seattle basically feeds of their run game. Same goes with Denver, although I don't think they'll be able to get their run game going. Seattle's run defense is something else.
It'll be a very interesting chess game to watch. The game couldn't come any sooner.
