Packers seem to keep falling further and further away from the SB. Need to make some changes and start moving back towards. Rodgers isn't enough to win in that NFC, too tough
I thought this was a great point as to whats held the Packers back from reaching the Super Bowl again.

Basically its saying the trend for the most part has been a team winning a Super Bowl while their QB is trying to earn an up coming pay day. But once they win the Super Bowl and get that pay day it hurts the team from being able to spread the money around to other positions (obviously). Winning the Super Bowl is not just having a great QB but also having the timing right when you're not paying him 100+ million dollars. So teams like Seattle and San Fran are paying Russell and Kap 600k-1million. Which is what allows them to have a top 10 QB and an elite defense. But once their pay day comes will these 2 teams still be able to afford a top 10 QB while maintaining that much talent on defense? Probably not. If thats the case the Packers could be on the rise again once these younger QB's get their contracts.
Although I will say Seattle, Russell specifically, seems like a bunch that would all take a little less collectively to keep their group together. Money always talks though, always. We know Kap is getting as much as he can though so he can add to his sick snapback collection.
