I just wanted to say..."Saints Nation!!!!"

imo if you did not witness the superbowl victory, you should not claim it as a fan. just my 2 cents.

Can't agree with this, ignoring history simply doesn't work in my book. That said, being uneducated about it makes it much harder to 'claim'. Know the roots, know the games, know the players

Rivers 'bald' looks legit, reminds me of some actor that I need to look up to remember the name :lol

And I certainly don't agree with throwing out a 'rings' argument when it has no relevance. Looks foolish and seems like you have no legit argument :lol

If a Detroit Lion did this he'd be suspended 4 games .

i am not saying to ignore history. if anything i agree to research your teams history to know the roots. however, you can know all the stats and results of the first 4 steelers superbowls but if you did not witness them i dont see how as a fan you can claim them. you weren't 'there' to witness the season. witnessing the team win the superbowl is much more than that game. witnessing the journey is a huge difference. watching a team go through ups and downs, critical drives, good wins, bad losses, turmoil, etc. you can watch all the tape one wants but it doesnt compare with living and witnessing that championship season. just my point of view.
