Freddie: The NY media/market will push hard for Richardson's campaign especially as the season comes to a close and voting nears. It would help if the Jets remain in the playoff hunt, unlike today's performance. But yes, Mo gets the shine and interviews. He's more known and recognizable hence the credit, fair or not.

My ballot goes Alonso, Sheldon, Star. Although the average football doesn't know where Kiki went to college or why he slipped to R2.

Nacho is my impact player defensively tonight against NE.

Kiko will get some extra shine because these awards tend to favor LBs with big tackle numbers imo, especially versus run-stopping D linemen like Richardson and Star.

100027: State your case for Richardson over Alonso.

awwsome: I wouldn't take any receiver over Watkins and Lee. But you're right based on draft slot, both won't be available by Carolina's pick. So Evans or Matthews it is opposite Smitty. Or even Landry.

Not just the tackles. Alonso has 4 INTs and 2 sacks. All over the field. Playmaker, game changer.

Some girl in Buffalo offered fellatio for an Alonso jersey.

Glennon balling the hell out.

Moral of the day, get yourself a nerdy looking 7 foot QB to get your team out the dumps
This is going to be fool's gold for Tampa when they A. Keep Schiano and B. keep Glennon and pass on drafting a QB in the top 5, and then next year both can't take the next step.

Sammy is electric and Lee is my guy but even in a down year for him I think he goes higher than Evans.

I just love Evans size and physicality, Cam often overthrows his targets, hard to overthrow 6'5 with leaping ability word to Matthew Stafford

Can't put Simms in. These guys have their ears pinned backed to rush. Give him a fresh start. A week to prepare.

So imagine what she would offer him if she caught him leaving the stadium?

I'm not saying it's a clear result.  I think that Sheldon has been incredibly consistent and a day one anchor for one the best front units in football.  He's basically played at the level of a top level veteran defensive end since the beginning of the season.

I haven't watched Alonso enough to have any criticism for his game or to argue too much for either side.  I do think that he benefits a little bit from playing a "sexier" position in the ROY race.  We all know tackle totals can be an inflated metric, but his number of picks is pretty awesome.

This is the best football I've seen Alex Smith play all year.

Getting lots of help, SD secondary been handing out penalties like christmas morning.

And derek cox got to be the worst corner in the L this year. Getting benched 3 of 4 weeks on a squad of scrubs, and he tried his best to see the pine against miami

Mathews getting injured after getting his TD on cue :lol

Already had the hamstring injury from last week.

*not defending his first team all glass position :lol

This Texans offense today was tailored to get the #1 pick. I see you McNair and Smith, and see you
