This. I don't mind a playoff change for CFB, but not for the NFL. All for the almighty dollar.
So what you're saying is...Ryan for Schaub would solve everything??
reppedThat's actually not funny. At the end of the day, it's just a game. Matt Schaub is human just like the rest of us and should be treated as such. Attempting to slander the man AND his family in person and through the internet over friggin football is exactly what is wrong with today's society.
I hope these idiots are banned from every NFL stadium for life.
******g clowns...

What about Watt for Osi?

What's making me more upset about this situation is that from what I've read, Schaub is actually a really nice guy. Not saying a prick would deserve this treatment, but he seems like a geunine person outside of football.
The part about taking photos of his family is really disturbing and pissing me off...
Millen was a nut.
Honestly, I always thought he was really insightful when he called games before being a GM. Had a really good football mind, but I think his situation just snow balled. It'd be kinda cool to see him get another shot.

Shot at what?
Man that story pisses me off.
Shaub doesn't deserve that kind of harassment especially being with his family.
It's a ******g game man.
I swear the world is headed in a horrible direction. Disgusting
Yea to my knowledge Schaub does a lot of charity work and the NFL recognized it as well.
People man ******g disgusting.

Written by Brad Gagnon on 08 October 2013.
In recent years, it has felt as though fewer teams have been willing to participate in HBO's Hard Knocks. The behind-the-scenes spotlight doesn't seem to jibe with a lot of current front offices and coaching staffs, and thus many have wondered if the annual series is nearing the end of its life.
Not so.
If nobody volunteers for Hard Knocks going forward, the NFL will make you. That's right, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport andAlbert Breer, the league has approved a policy that gives Roger Goodell and Co. the ability to assign a team to Hard Knocks duty. Albert Breer has more details on which teams would be exempt, particularly, those who have a new head coach, those who have appeared on the show in the last 10 years and those who have made the playoffs in one of the last two seasons.
So there you have it. Extra incentive to make the playoffs and/or fire your head coach.
The Patriots are probably going to keep making the playoffs, but the Giants will likely meet the criteria this upcoming summer. Imagine Tom Coughlin on Hard Knocks. Other intriguing candidates that could be available for assignment: Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Chicago. Any of those options could produce the most compelling season of Hard Knocks yet, which is great news for fans and the league. We'll see how the teams feel about it though.
People going to Schaub 's house to confront him and take pics of his family and posted them, smh...
