Interesting.

Yeah because I'm sure anybody would have even considered Sideline Hot Dog Eater or Jesse Pinkman with the #1 pick that year.

Interesting.
Brian Hoyer was undrafted that year though 8o

Stafford was unanimously considered the most talented QB in his class.. he's always had the physical ability, it was just a matter of keeping the turnovers down and stepping up in big games. Which he seems to be doing so far this season. Dude just turned 25 this year too, he def has a bright future if he keeps it up.

Last man standing doesn't mean they nailed anything.

Bucs can't honestly believe they will get ANY value for freeman right? Like they are selling a used car they already admitted to the league was lit on fire and in several accidents :lol

“@alexmarvez: Just texted with GM who was approached by @TBBuccaneers about Josh Freeman trade. "They don't have much to sell," he wrote”

Why exactly do people think it was the Bucs themselves that leaked that information? All that would do would hurt his trade value and cause more drama...none of which would help them at all.

Besides the fact, he's been a known addict by a good amount of people in the Tampa area for a couple years now.

He broke every team record and was statistically the best quarterback in football for a span of 5 straight weeks last year, and is only 25 years old yet they tried to trade for Carson Palmer this past summer. The Bucs knew something was up for a while now.

I woke up to this article displayed on my phone...

Josh Freeman: 'I've taken and passed 46 drug tests'

"Let me be very clear. I have NEVER tested positive for any illegal drugs or related substances. Further, I have agreed to take, and have PASSED 46 NFL-regulated drug tests over the last year and a half.

Since the confidentiality of my medical status has been publicly violated, I am choosing to address this matter so that grossly erroneous assumptions about me do not persist. Like millions of Americans, I have ADHD and I have been prescribed and permitted to take medication to treat this condition for the entirety of my NFL career.

Well over a year ago, I took a different medication for the same condition (Ridilin rather than Adderall) , and to assure everyone that the error was a one-time mistake, I agreed to be voluntarily tested in the "NFL Program". Since that time, I have taken and passed all 46 drug tests I've been given, which test for every drug and banned substance imaginable. I agreed to allow such testing to be done at my workplace (team facility) because I spend all of my time there and I have nothing whatsoever to hide or be embarrassed about.

Unfortunately, it appears that some people who may have noticed the testing at my workplace have made hurtful and incorrect assumptions and chosen to disseminate inaccurate and very disturbing information. It is a shame that when times have gotten tough, people have chosen to attack the character of others, rather than supporting each other. I remain dedicated and focused to being the best quarterback I can be and to help a team win a championship."

So you guys really believe that the reason that Freeman is in the NFL drug-abuse program is because one day he took ridalin instead of aderrall and to "assure everyone it was a one time mistake" he voluntarily went into the program. Even though he never tested positive once. Yeah, no.

No way the Bucs leaked that info. They're trying to get rid of him, they're not going to leak info that makes another team even less likely to take him. They'd have to be complete idiots.

Only Hope the best for Freeman just like any else who recognize trouble and issues that they have off the field

Knowing what you know about Schiano... Does "complete idiot" sound that far off?

I think Freeman leaked the info himself so theres no trade value and the Bucs just release him. That leaves him picking what team he wants to go to and he burns the Bucs 'cause they will still have to pay him the remaining $6 million. Somewhere Raheem Morris is laughing

I'm sick of hearing about this bum Freeman, as of today he's not a starter in the NFL and doesn't deserve to be.

In other news, Licensed To Ball, good game... glad I flew all the way to San Diego to watch my team pull a no-call no-show in the 2nd half after dominating the 1st :{ :{ :{
