Doesn't really specify in the synopsis so I think that rumor is still up in the air.

F4s synopsis that was posted on RottenTomatoes last week has been confirmed by Fox.
"THE FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways.
Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy."
Bruh let the movie bomb so Marvel can get the rights back...So is doom being an Internet troll true? Say it ain't so, just lie to me
Bruh let the movie bomb so Marvel can get the rights back...

Pretty sure they wrapped filming a few months ago.Bruh let the movie bomb so Marvel can get the rights back...
This isn't even tank status. This is not ever get released or finished making status.
Bruh let the movie bomb so Marvel can get the rights back...
ehh FF 2 was promoted out the *** and didn't even hit 300M globally.Bruh let the movie bomb so Marvel can get the rights back...
lol. It wont bomb. Lets be real here, itll prolly do $400M just off being a Marvel franchise alone.
The sequel is already confirmed and I doubt it'll be cancelled if the film does more than $200M. With proceeds from China. It'll be impossible to not reach $300M
Are you aware that Men In Black 3 may gross $600M at the box office, and yet will lose money for SPE? Shouldn't we question that strategy? Why are some studios making Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Twilight - and we are considering movies like Moneyball, Steve Jobs story, Captain Phillips Story, Evel Knievel story, etc. Are you aware that SPE only has 1 franchise - Spiderman. Yet, it took 5 years to generate a sequel? Spidey 3 was released in summer 2007, #4 in 2012. Don't harry potters come out over 2-3 years?
Are you aware that SPE has only 1 franchise - Spidey? Yet we waited 5 years after Spidey 3 (2007) to release #4? Have you read the SEC annual report? Disney will make $300M on Spidey merchandise this year alone. We won't!
"Seems like we just reboot old product instead of coming up with new ideas like the Hunger Games," "There is a general "blah-ness" to the films we produce," "we continue to be saddled with the mundane, formulaic Adam Sandler films," and "Stop making the same, safe, soul-less movies and TV shows."
What I also don't see as good signs is the lack of promotion for it or even early promo.ehh FF 2 was promoted out the *** and didn't even hit 300M globally.Bruh let the movie bomb so Marvel can get the rights back...

First Class made around 360 Million and i'll bet this performs under that (by a LOT).
Again, it doesn't seem like too much money actually went into this movie but I still think it'll be a financial failure.
It's their own damn fault.Sony Pictures hacked documents talking about Spiderman Franchise, supposedly a conversation within Sony:

A few employee complaints within the workers inside the company:
"Seems like we just reboot old product instead of coming up with new ideas like the Hunger Games," "There is a general "blah-ness" to the films we produce," "we continue to be saddled with the mundane, formulaic Adam Sandler films," and "Stop making the same, safe, soul-less movies and TV shows."
More hacked documents are being sifted through so more info and conversations as such should be coming up online in the near future.
Spidey merch wasn't enough to keep a publishing company afloat in the 90s. Mad companies would go bankrupt back then. It was only until the 2000s that Marvel became a full fledged media company.@ Marvel making more money off the spidey movies than Sony
But we all know its because of hollywood creative accounting. They want the loss so they dont have to pay taxes
How did Marvel almost go bankrupt when spidey toys make more money than all other heroes combined? :x Just ASM merch alone is making movie money
Geriatric Terminator?
http://io9.com/terminator-genisys-insane-plot-reveal-is-a-total-nightm-1652315938Behold the brand new, totally rebooted cast of Terminator Genisys. They look fine. I mean, it's a cover of a magazine — it is what it is. However, the plot reveal inside the actual magazine issue is a WHOLE OTHER ******* MATTER. Spoilers ahead.
Entertainment Weekly has Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, Matt Smith as Mysterious Future Guy and Jason Clarke plays John Connor. Look, these aren't shots from the movie; they're magazine covers, so we don't know if this is actually what the movie will look like at all. I will say that Jason Clarke is a pretty good-looking John Connor. Kyle and Sarah look squinty and the smiling Terminator is just... sigh.
However, inside this reveal was a paragraph that dropped this MASSIVE plot bomb that basically changes the entire fabric of the Terminator universe forever.
Sarah Connor isn't the innocent she was when Linda Hamilton first sported feathered hair and acid-washed jeans in the role. Nor is she Hamilton's steely zero body-fat warrior in 1991's T2. Rather, the mother of humanity's messiah was orphaned by a Terminator at age 9. Since then, she's been raised by (brace yourself) Schwarzenegger's Terminator—an older T-800 she calls "Pops"—who is programmed to guard rather than to kill. As a result, Sarah is a highly trained antisocial recluse who's great with a sniper rifle but not so skilled at the nuances of human emotion.
The hell? So Sarah Connor knows about Terminators this whole time? This negates the awesomeness that is the original Terminator. Also, a little girl being raised by a Terminator is not an action movie, it's a Funny or Die sketch. After the heartbreak that was Terminator Salvation, I really don't know if my soul can take much more of the smearing of the Terminator franchise. I like Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) but DADDY TERMINATOR? No. **** that. No.
Hey maybe I'm overreacting, this is a huge twist. Maybe they can pull it off. Maybe I'll be eating my words in a few months. I truly hope so. But I'm also not sure how I'm going to react when Sarah Connor calls the Terminator "pops."
Interestingly, he reveals that he "Doesn't know when they're going to show it [The trailer]," But says we should expect something "Soon."
I don't wanna watch it just because of how they spelled "Genisys". That alone says enough. semi-srs
