Honestly I can probably get past the Batman situation, but the clincher here is Wonder Woman.
The **** is Wonder Woman doing in this damn movie? Why they can't give her her own movie?
This is supposed to be the "sequel" to Man of Steel? Lex Luthor is supposed to be in this? You mean to tell me you plan on developing Luthor, a new, older Batman, and WONDER WOMAN in the same damn movie, in what's supposed to be a Superman "sequel"?
They tryna shoehorn these characters in man.
ASM2 got a pass from me because of how much I enjoyed the story. But I'm not tryna see six new characters every movie
I'm still finna see this movie tho
I don't think they are calling it an MoS sequel anymore. If the "report" were true, there is a MoS 2 film at a much later date.
I really do think Marvel just got everyone spoiled, doing an origin film for every character isn't the only way to make films. What they accomplished is great but the main part of how and why it worked is they planned it all out and that is what everyone is picking up now. DC/WB got their plans now, 9 additional DC films outside of BvS, JL, Sandman, etc... films. Sony with their Spiderman franchise and Fox with their XMen, Deadpool, XFactor and F4.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, JL is a big enough team and known enough that you can start it as a team and then go from there. Look at their animated films that are very good, the JL either starts or are already a group. The animated show really helps in this regard that most know the members already, same with the animated show or XMen and Spiderman and that is why when the story from the comic that didn't happen in the tv show, there is a little uproar because there are more general knowledge of what happened in the tv show than in the actual comics. Most of the members of the JL are top tier heroes unlike Avengers that had a second to third tier heroes, outside of the Hulk, the rest weren't really that well known, not as known as Superman, Batman, WW, Flash, GL, Aquaman, etc...
Now the hard part is pulling it off like the XMen film where they start as a group and then branch off to the story for each members. They kind of tried to do it with XMen then Wolverine Origins that was suppose to be followed by Prof X, Magneto and X-Students origin films. Fox failed and had issues, DC will try and not fail at it.
As for the villain, they need less focus and n origins are needed necessarily. The best villain of all, Ledgers Joker didn't need it. With that said, it can still be done. Now I am not sure Eisenberg is the best fit for Luthor so I got my fingers crossed but dude just has to be memorable enough, he doesn't need to be totally fleshed out. I thought Zod was a good enough villain, enough action and you know his intentions. Snyder has done it before, with BvS where he doesn't really need to focus on the origins of Supes or Bats, there can be some deep background for Lex to go along with the story.
Also, BvS is still going to be mainly Superman and (or versus) Batman with small cameo that leads to a JL film. Keep in mind they are filming it back to back and at the moment Gadot is done filming (she has been done for a month now and started filming her next movie somewhere else) and they are still filming majority of the film for BvS part so that means her part is very small, for BvS at least. She isn't going to share the 1/3 of the screen time in this one as most believe.
I've stated this before but what I see them doing is BvS will have small cameo for most of the other members (Aquaman & Cyborg, those are the ones I've heard so far) including WW but her role will likely be slightly bigger than those others and then those cameos will be continued tot he full blown JL film.
