For some reason I just get the feeling that GoTG isn't meant to be a long standing series.. Once Thanos is established they'll "move on"

didn't fiege himself confirmed that this movie was once and done type of movie. That he didn't want to spend time with the same charactes over and over??For some reason I just get the feeling that GoTG isn't meant to be a long standing series.. Once Thanos is established they'll "move on"
We are already getting Hulkbuster vs Hulk fight. They need to put the other avengers in rotation with these bomb *** fight scenesI want it to be hulk
That fight scene would be EPIC
I think it depends on how high Marvel gets on Pratt.
The assumed route is Thanos comes to Earth at the Guardians follow him there, link with the Avengers and take him down together. The logistical problem with that is the amount of heroes that'll be on the pay roll.
My 'theory" is just based off the assumption that Marvel loves Pratt and wants to integrate him into the actual Avengers for Phase 4 & on. Having him being the last survivor of his crew is an easy way to get the audience behind him too.
I'll love to be wrong. I get bummed out when i figure out movie plots this fair in advance lol
So thers a possibility that Batista is the one who kills Thanos.. i dont know but **** is hilarious

They already confirmed that Rocket is the heart of the movie. If anyone is going to die it will be Drax on some "I'm taking you with me" ****.

Yup. It could be anybody. Guardians has a drastic departure from the comics. But the characters will still be portrayed correctly for the most part which is what we truly care about

They have already confirmed this already.
TASM 2 looks better with each preview
The more I think of it the more I think GoTG is basically just to introduce some more of the space elements into MU and to build up Thanos as a huge formidable villain
I think they'll just basically talk him up the whole film and reveal him to be the puppet master behind the scenes and in GoTG 2 they'll formally introduce him. Build him up even more by having him destroy the entire GoTG except for Star Lord who manages to get back to Earth and warns the Avengers that he's coming.. Which sets up A3 perfectly.
I read someone else mention this and I like the theory so i'm rolling with it.
Also I know Drax is the one who kills him in the comics but couldn't Hulk serve that same purpose?
Squirrel Girl and Thor have both single handedly beaten Thanos in the comics. Drax might be the only one who has killed him IDK. After all that was his entire purpose. But in the movies Drax does not have that relationship with Thanos. He has that relationship with Ronan the Accuser instead. Accuser was the one who killed his family. Since the movies is not going the Drax route it could be anyone who could beat Thanos.
Doubt anyone of importance will die in Guardians.
I'm not making any theories until I know which gem that is
But I want it to be Thor that beats or kills Thanos

Imagining an universe lead by Ant Man and Dr. Strange is pretty difficult.

Best believe if this is a box office hit, sequels will come.
