News On Future Films Based on Comics/Paranormal/Sci-Fi

lol people want Johnny Depp to be Dr. Strange? Johnny Depp? The guy who plays the same artsy weirdo in every movie? Sorry but Dr. Strange has a lot more depth than that.

we need leo as the silver surfer
all that inner conflict
leo would be on point
Leo has too much respect for himself to be in these terrible Fox movies.

He'd rather be doing good roles (like he has been)

Another speculation with Ultron is that SHIELD created him, in WInter Soldier, there are some bots or armor for SHIELD agents and if that has an AI like JARVIS then Ultron might evolve from it? That could also be SHIELD hacking Starks tech with the AI so that he gets some of the blame? Just a guess. They already stated that Winter Soldier will kick-off the Avengers sequel so that is my best guess.

As for who to play Dr. Strange, I am not sure but like stated in the article the script has to be changed because the initial script is suppose to be in his 30s and if they are indeed going to follow their plan of making Strange the new Stark (the guy in the middle of it all or interconnect to everyone) then I am not sure a 50yr old Depp is the best choice. Again he does look younger for his age but that'll still show especially since Doc Strange is set to come out in what, 2016 or 2017?

To be honest, I'd really like Cumberbatch as Strange, I think he is a great choice and 12-14 years younger too. Maybe he got offered a Star Wars role so he can't commit to Marvel?
Yah in the next 2 or 3 years he might age to look like hes 80.

In terms of talent JGL would kill this role. But he wasnt old enough. Something i could get over if done right. Hes doing sandman now so thats off the table.

Michael Douglas Explains Why He's In ANT-MAN: "I've Been Dying To Do A Marvel" Movie

"I've been dying to do a Marvel picture for so long," Douglas told Reuters on Monday. "The script is really fun, the director is really good. Dylan (the actor's 13-year-old son) will love it. He'll have a picture he can see."

"Sometimes - like (when) they didn't see you for Liberace - you've got to shake them up a little bit and have some fun," Douglas said of surprising both studios and audiences with his decision to do a superhero film.

And while Douglas has only done one sequel in his career spanning more than 40 years - Gordon Gekko in 2010's "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" - the actor teased about his involvement in future "Ant-Man" sequels.

"(Marvel) reciprocated well, there are sequels. Who knows?" the actor said.

JGL is 32 and the script was written for a 30 year old as stated in the article posted.

I spoke to El Mayimbe, and he was quick to note that the original script had a 30-year-old Dr. Strange.

I know. And 30 is too young to be an accomplished surgeon and the sorceror supreme. Even then he doesnt look 30.

Doesn't matter, he's still not too young because he is 32 and the script that calls for a 30 year old. He can pull off 30 yrs old, he was playing someone that's about 30 (maybe older?) in Inception.

I dont care what the script calls for. "What the script calls for" is how we get movies like Thor 1, IM2 and 3, or god forbid the Fox movies.

Eh, they couldn't hide Amy Adams looking like a 40 year old hag in MoS, Depps age could easily show w/o much make-up.

Just noticed dude wore heavy make-up in his recent big films; Sparrow, Barnabas, Tonto, Mad Hatter and even in his cameo for 21 Jump Street. :lol

Yeah ok, just completely ignore every evidence that disproves you.

JGL is 32 years old, looks around 30 years old in prior films and the scripts is looking for a 30 year old and even though you said you can overlook it because he is a good actor and would kill it, that doesn't matter because you don't care. :lol

These "scripts" is also how you got movies you actually like so what's your point?

I really do not want to keep falling for these things but damn. :rollin

If done right i said. And so far there are 3 bad movies out of 8. And I liked Cap since i dont care for his comics. For all i know cap was terrible.

Disproves me from what? Knowing that you cant be an accomplished surgeon and the sorcerer supreme by 30?

Disproves you that the script asked for a 30 year old but your excuse is you don't care, I mean it asks for a 30 year old, it's simple as that. JGL is 32 and looked 30 in Inception. That disproves you that he isn't too young because he is older than 30 (it's simple fact) and disproves that he looks too young because he looks 30 in a prior film.

And how do you know he'll even be a accomplished surgeon and supreme sorcerer in the film/script? They always make their own interpretation in these films. Plus this is a movie about a sorcerer, you have evidence that a 30 year old can't be a supreme sorcerer in real life? I mean are you really in disbelief that he can't be a 30 year old sorcerer when there's a dude who turns into a giant green monster and a norse god swinging his hammer around in this universe?

Maybe they make him a Dougie Howser genius? Who knows? That isn't so far fetch, it's still gon be his origin film too so he doesn't have to be accomplished in sorcery in the film, he could still be a newb.

You could be sorcerer supreme at 8 im sure, if he didnt become an accomplished surgeon first. And they should just stop with their lame *** twist. Find real comics that people like and use that as inspiration instead of giving us IM3. Some of these characters have over 50 years of material and that is the best they can come up with?

And in all honesty JGL did himself a favor by doing sandman and controlling his destiny instead of taking a 3/8s shot at a terrible movie. Never read Sandman but I have confidence he will produce a great movie.

300 is still one of the best comic movies. And few know it is a comic. JGL won't have to deal with the "our heroes can't kill" or "our heroes are Disney characters" ********.

what i want to know is how the hell amy adams get the role of lois lane. martha kent would have suited her better

I have low standards for sex but I don't tell people a girl is hot because I would hook up with them. My standards for looks are at least average. Most people even say they are too high. But for sex... I would smash an ugly chick with a few attractive features no problem. It's the fat chicks I can't do.

I still think Oded Fehr should be Doctor Strange

AntMan comes out after Avengers 2 though so he really do not need to be involved in creating Ultron unless he makes a cameo in A2. I guess they can show a flashback in AntMan of him being involved in someway with Ultron with SHIELD? Seems pointless at that point though but I guess it's a way to connect him to the team?

They'll use ant man after the credits I'm sure

Wanted that one too but alas only sold at the re-screening at the Alamo theater last week.

I would have purchased both regular and variant posters.

Johnny Depp's character in The Ninth Gate lines up with Dr. Strange before his accident. That movie dealt heavily with the occult and Johnny Depp pulled off the cocky smart guy with no concerns for anyone but himself very well.
