If they were going for an older Dr. Strange, I rather see DDL in the role. Do it Marvel

Marvel May Like Johnny Depp For ‘Doctor Strange’ But Thesp May be Too Busy for Role
While it makes sense that Marvel would want to have a conversation with Depp over how it could launch a new franchise with the thesp, sources tell Variety that such talks have yet to take place and any possibility of such a pairing is premature.
But any talks would have to focus on whether the actor has time to take on the role. He has several films waiting for a greenlight at Disney, including a fifth “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
Daniel day Lewis as magneto if marvel ever gets the x-men franchise back
he the type of actor that would learn how to actually levitate before shooting starts. even tho its gonna be wires/cgi anywayDude would probably have strong magnets surgically inserted under his skin so he could have metal objects fly at him and to get in character better.
Who says he'll be an accomplished surgeon in the movie? He can just be a rising star in his field. You should pay attention and know by now these movies have been taking a lot more from the Ultimate comics than the main MU so a 30 yr old doctor that messes up his hands and goes to search for a cure for it aint farfetched. If done right i said. And so far there are 3 bad movies out of 8. And I liked Cap since i dont care for his comics. For all i know cap was terrible.
Disproves me from what? Knowing that you cant be an accomplished surgeon and the sorcerer supreme by 30?
Along with All-New Ultimates being launched so is Ultimate FF (Future Foundation, nothing ike the MU 616), and Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man. So far no X-Men book so there's a chance they all die in Cataclysm.whats up with miles morales i heard that ultimate spiderman ended
JGL himself has said he's just one of the producer's of Sandman. That doesn't mean he will be Sandman in the movie. He could easily drop out of producing if he found a better offer or opportunity that conflicted with the schedule of this. And in all honesty JGL did himself a favor by doing sandman and controlling his destiny instead of taking a 3/8s shot at a terrible movie. Never read Sandman but I have confidence he will produce a great movie.
Sam Worthington And Zoe Saldana Officially Signed On For Three More AVATAR Movies
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana have now finalised their deals to return for the next three Avatar movies. They join Stephen Lang, who was confirmed to be making a return (despite being killed in the first instalment of the 3D franchise) last year. Director James Cameron will be making all three movies back to back, while Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, and Shane Salerno were all drafted in a little while back to help him with the screenplays. Plot details are currently scarce, although the trade does say that Jake Sully and Neytiri, the characters played by Worthington and Saldana, have kids in the sequel. Avatar 2 is set to be released in December, 2016, with the other two following in 2017 and 2018.
Worthington should just rock that mullet he had in Man on a Ledge in every movie. I liked Avatar, been waiting for the sequel. I'd want to live on Pandora.
Construction Officially Begins on Disney’s Avatar Theme Park Attraction
Construction is officially underway on the upcoming Avatar attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The Disney Parks Blog updated today with images and video from the groundbreaking ceremony, which featured blue Na’vi-scaled shovels. Check out the video in the player below along with two photos from the event.
Designed by Walt Disney Imagineering in partnership with James Cameron and Lightstorm Entertainment, the new attraction is said to feature the wonders of Pandora, giving parkgoers the chance to “fly with banshees and explore a rich natural environment with mountains that float and interactive plants that glow at night.”
The largest expansion in Disney’s Animal Kingdom history, the attraction is set to open in 2017.
Goodness. If Liam Neeson is cast as Dr. Strange, his origin story will be loosely based on all his last films. Haha. That would work but I'd have to hear his American accent and he'd really have to extend his acting range. Yeah I know it's just a superhero flick but at times despite being a good actor Clive Owen seems to have the same serious British character role that he plays to type.
I just seen this on google images
I also see on other sites ppl suggesting James Caviezel and Jason Carter. Got the look but not sure from there.
Antoine the Gigolo!!!I still think Oded Fehr should be Doctor Strange
Cool cool cool. Totally forgot Pena was in AH as the sheik for the latter half of the movie but he was in End of Watch.
Yup, we are totally entering a period of constant comic book movie news as all the big 2015 tentpoles near their production starts.
Ant-Man is still rounding out its cast, and now The Wrap reports Edgar Wright and Marvel have offered a role to Michael Pena, who is terrific and is gaining a lot more notice after films like End of Watch and most recently American Hustle. Marvel won’t confirm this report (what else is new?) but Pena is said to be interested so this probably has a decent shot of working out.
Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd are playing Hank Pym and Scott Lang, respectively, in the Marvel Phase 3 launcher. Both men were/are the superhero known as Ant-Man at different points, but it’s probably safe to assume Rudd’s Lang is going to be primary version who will eventually join up with the Avengers.
There’s no word on who Pena will play, or if the role is even that of a recognizable Marvel character (though Brendon relates the character has “deadpan humor”), so speculate away. Filming on Ant-Man begins at the end of April.
According to Variety‘s story on Michael Pena’s involvement in Ant-Man, both Rashida Jones and Bryce Dallas Howard have caught Marvel’s attention in the search for a female lead.
Howard might be a hard booking to make as she’s already got Jurassic World lined up at more or less the same time. Perhaps a little Ant magic can be worked on the schedules.
Rashida Jones has oft been linked to the role of Janet van Dyne, aka The Wasp. I can see how that makes sense. She’s a proven pairing with Rudd so I’d like to see them share the screen again.
I’ve been told that the female lead of this film is the daughter of the second male lead. In light of the last day’s news, that pretty clearly marks her out as the offspring of Hank Pym. If he had a daughter in the comics, I don’t know about her.
It bears pointing out that Edgar Wright and Joe Cornish devised their take on Ant-Man a good while ago now and before any kind of briefing from Marvel Studios. They may have (rightly) felt at liberty to play fast and loose with comics continuity.
And the removal of The Wasp from Joss Whedon’s plans for The Avengers could be seen as circumstantial evidence too if you’re so inclined.
Perhaps the casting of Michael Douglas, who is of an age where either Howard or Jones could be his daughter, and they both look enough like him that it would work in a movie version, is also suggestive.
So I suspect that Van Dyne senior and Hank Pym may have been conflated. Perhaps. Or maybe Vernon van Dyne is about to be cast and he’ll have a bigger part than Pym.
I think we’ll be finding out fairly soon, as the female role is cast…
In other news: Hollywood is absolutely buzzing with uncommonly attractive people.
The chief villainous force in the second Avengers film is expected to be Ultron, the artificial intelligence. His name is in the title, after all.
But the bot won’t be alone in causing problems for Fury’s happy family, with Thomas Kretschmann now joining the cast as Baron Wolfgang von Strucker.
His casting was first reported at The Wrap though, at this moment, they’re not naming the character.
Only a matter of minutes, I think… but it’s definitely Strucker, when they get around to it.
In the comics, the contemporary version of Strucker is a resurrected corpse. There was also a Life Model Decoy version, and then there’s also a lot of material with Strucker at the time of the second world war. It’s not yet known which of these we’ll be seeing in the film, and it may yet be even another different interpretation.
UPDATE: The Wrap have now added Strucker’s name, saying that he is
a Nazi officer working for terrorist organization HYDRA who runs up against both Captain America (Chris Evans) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson).
SECOND UPDATE: Borys Kit at THR is saying that Kretschmann’s deal is for multiple movies. Par for the course with Marvel, I think, but worth noting.
I'm down for anything Liam. He hasn't disappointed yet and he's actually a great actor.
I guess you haven't seen Clash/Wrath of the Titans? The A-Team?
