Mason Miller is a pipe dream imo. He's elite and has 3 years on his rookie deal left. He's an extremely valuable chip. If they deal him, he'll probably be packaged with Xander to someone willing to eat that contract. He has 7 years left at $25m. No thanks, even if that nets Miller.

Agree. They'd have to eat some of Xander even with Miller attached. They were just sold and reports are new owner wants to shed payroll. He has a full no trade clause though so it gets complicated.

Miller is so good and has 3 years of control after thus year. There's just not enough in our farm to get him. Maybe Lombard could be the centerpiece but i don't think we'd add him as we need SS in a bad way. Without him, we don't have enough. The 3 cheap years just make him so valuable.

I don't think Jones or Dominguez really move the needle these days. The days of them being highly rates prospects are over. Spencer Jones is 25 with a 40% K rate. Small sample size, but it was kinda expected so not surprising.

Miller is a chip that will get multiple top 50/100 prospects and we aren't well loaded with those. The Padres dealt the #2 prospect in baseball + 3 more arms to get him last year.

Reports often overinflate what the Yankees "can" do. They often overrate our prospects too. Both get clicks form the biggest fanbase. We have to keep that in mind.

He has a year less of control but he's also improved a lot this year. Without Lombard, we don't have the bullets to get him. I stand by that. Other teams would have much better offers. We don't have high end arms. I'm not trying to be negative here, just trying to be realistic. Miller isn't a deadline rental.

McMahon is picking it up. I'll give him that. It's hard to notice the bottom half of the order though.

Like most guys, need him to just get contact on the ball.

This is a bad season for him. I understand there's some inconsistency here. But for the love of god. Give that man a deal in the off-season, and know for 3-5 years, you'll have a top 6 - 2B in a bad year, and when he's on, he's arguably the best player at the position.

Some of the defensive miscues, they exist for everybody. His are amplified because of who he is, and where he plays. Gotta clean it up because of that, but I'm not going to act like over 162, they don't exist for everybody. Essentially, be Robbie Alomar to avoid the noise.

You have Bellinger, Rice and Jazz..... Put them in positions to succeed. No reason they should not be 3 of the top 5. Healthy or unhealthy team. Obviously when Judge is back, you have 4 of the top 5. See if there's another big top half of the order guy to add. If not then they gotta improve the floor of some of the other guys here.

Their game tomorrow was originally scheduled for 1:35. They moved that one up to 1:05 and scheduled today for tomorrow night according to what I read.

I’m a guy who doesn’t care if you take a seat watch a homerun, cartwheel around the bases. Don’t care.

I don't want to trade him, but Boone should absolutely sit him down and tell him to stop being a f'in troll. It's a terrible schtick, just stop it.
