New York Yankees Official Thread - RIP Former Manager Petey Rose

Soto being signed by early December would be huge. Not only for my stress level, but also to let the team know what they've spent and what they have left. Him waiting would really slow down the entire market and especially teams that are heavy on him. Yankees can't really make many moves until they know what his decision is.

Please don't be true. Rumors are the Yanks are interested in this clown to replace Rizzo :smh:

Just move Judge to 1b., start hittin him ground balls now :ohwell:

I really hope this is made up ..

Jazz fills one of those two spots no?

No. If Jazz plays 3rd. Hole at 1B & 2B.
If Jazz plays 2nd. Hole at 1B & 3B.

Need Jazz + 2 guys.

It's why you just roll with Gleyber. Known commodity. And is good in the playoffs. He's only 28. So if he gets a 3-4 year. Should be able to get him somewhere else if need be without much bloodshed

Seems they are keen to keep 2B internal - they put Durbin on the 40 man yesterday to protect him in Rule 5

Yeah I mentioned a few weeks ago he's a guy that may break camp/be competing for a spot.

Yeah Boone has spoken highly of him

It will be interesting - Soto, Walker and a reliever or two is more or less what I’d like to see

The Athletic had a pipe dream off-season report a few days ago - I’ll have to post it, on my way to Duke/Zona game so will be offline

I'm sure the team wouldn't mind bringing back gleyber but it will probably be dependent on the contract he's looking for

I want Gleyber back but it really looks it’s going to fill the void internal and get a big bat at 1B (Walker)

Who knows - excited for the stove to get red hot

Seems like they are setting us up for Soto to not resign

Talking a lot about Plan B - Fried, Buehler, Adames, Walker…

Who knows

Or that’s what they want you to think.

Fried, Buehler should be a regardless.

And with $11mil saved on Rizzo and $12-13mil on Gleyber (still makes me sad). Opens up most of the space for Walker.

But if they lose him. Hal has to let Cash go. He won’t but that would be bigger than anything that people hate Hal for. And the Robbie Cano mess was really bad. But this would be significantly worse.

Yeah none of us know - no point in even thinking about it honestly.

Also seeing a lot of chatter about trading for Bellinger and Hoerner to fill out first and second needs. Met with Fried and Burnes today. Hell, Buehler basically alluded to it in his latest IG post.

If true, which you’ll find out in the days after and they don’t keep him. Fire Cash into the sun.

Jazz burnin some greenery in the offseason :smokin

This team needed a guy to loosen that clubhouse a lil, things have become too buttoned up. Every team needs that one guy who's down for anything or helps create times off the field they'll remember . Jazz seems like that clubhouse glue we need :smokin
