i honestly don't mind Boone. stupid mistakes every now and then but hopefully he learned from em. Torre wasn't a HOF manager before he came here, even called him clueless Joe, but his calm demeanor and his staff was what that team needed. these new guy's Boone is all they know, and they do like him. he just needs to be a lil more firm as far as making guys accountable for their mistakes rather than trying to be their friend. that'll change with age. maybe a new bench coach who's been around, like a Zimmer type would be the move. changing managers right now to me will only make things worse, to me ....

Hal actually sounds like hsi dad for once. In the past he's always sounded like a penny pincher bringing up the cap and tax and building in excuses. Those words today doesn't leave him room to **** up.
