If he did commit the murder then yeah, it's a punk move by him to drag his boys into it like that.
Regarding Ortiz though I see it like this. If he genuinely had no idea what was going to happen that night and had no desire to be involved in it and didn't know that/if aaron Hernandez was going to kill Lloyd then I could rationalize with his actions.
However his behavior speaks otherwise. Trying to escape, getting caught in south Florida. Possibly trying to go to Cuba to avoid extradition maybe shows to me that he had a heavy amount of involvement in this
Personally I think their equally as bad, the murderer and the snitch. The murderer is scum for killing someone of course, the snitch is scum for initially knowing the murderer was going to kill and not warning the victim, and ratting the murderer out despite being involved as well strictly for selfish purposes. He isn't speaking to bring justice for Lloyd's family, he's speaking because its benifits him. I've said that Hernandez deserves whatever he gets if proven guilty but Ortiz is scum as well.
All that said, I don't think this case is as much of a slam dunk as people expect if prosecutors are even considering working a deal with someone as sketchy as Lloyd. If it was a slam dunk case they would have enough to take all 3 down. Despite so much incriminating stuff against Hernandez, he has a high powered lawyer that will do his part and if they never find that gun I wouldn't be suprised if Hernandez eventually cops out to something way smaller.
