New GHOSTBUSTERS film confirmed with all-female cast

The 2009 video game was the closest we got to having a true Ghostbusters III.

I really liked that game.

As long as this next film has equal shine for the OG cast and the new cast, I’m all in.

Would’ve been cool to see argon in this and Rick Moranis, but he quit acting.

I wonder if the story will focus just in NYC. It would’ve been cool if they go to different locations.

All it needs is a good script. Doesnt matter if its teens as ghostbusters.
Im all for the og cast returning in limited supporting roles though (as mentors to the new generation if you will). Not a lot of people want 68 year old Bill Murray and 66 year old Dan Akryod running around in jumpsuits anymore

So do i, really bad, but I can also picture them casting him as the main guy dealing with the Ghosts that they help out, and I seriously don't want to see that at all.

Trailer just screams this was a film being done with a lot of TLC. And I agree for as much as I wanted to see the OG's, this is a very well done first trailer. Ecto-1 gets the focus anyway.

I'm curious if the remaining 3 will show up and play a significant role.

Kind of bummed Paul Rudd isn't a Ghostbuster. Maybe he becomes one at the end?

Based on the trailer, seems like the kids are chasing Slimer.

So I've been re-watching this trailer and they did a great job with all the callbacks to the original film.

Egon's spores, molds, and fungi collection.

Shandor Mine = The cult group led by Ivo Shandor who built the building as a conduit to summon Zuul in GB1.

Man, I cannot wait. I'm curious if the game (Basically what GB3 would've been) plays a role in this.
