*NEED HELP IDENTIFYING SHOEPRINT OF THIEF*

This isn't as far fetched as some of you seem to think.

A couple of years ago, an actual detective requested help identifying the tread pattern left on the hood of a car. We were able to successfully identify the sneaker model for her. If memory serves, the model differed from the one worn by their primary suspect at the time - so NikeTalk may have helped save an innocent person from arrest.

Unfortunately, I can't place the tread pattern from the partial print in this case. As others have observed, the border surrounding the herringbone pods was common to clear-soled Nike sneakers. Due to the way they're segmented, I don't believe it's an Air Jordan XI.

To me, it looks more like the Penny V - though I don't believe it's from that model, either.

Hopefully someone more familiar with recent Nike releases can identify it.
