LeBron James scored 29 of the Cavaliers' final 30 points against the Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills to lift his team to within a game of the NBA Finals. In this double-overtime thriller, James attacked the rim time and time again, throwing down numerous thunderous dunks. James finished with 48 points on 18-of-33 shooting from the field. He also had nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals. "
I don't think that's what this thread is about.Originally Posted by Chris316

Agreed. His 39 and 17 in the clinching game is disgusting.Originally Posted by FinesseSosa

I feel bad for him.
If you are only just 7-10 years older, you'll see more exciting games and abysmal performance in the NBA.Originally Posted by FlacoBey

These are the 25 greatest games just based on the statistical difficulty, no taking into account stakes or anything else. (since 1984)
I think context is key. For a non-clinching game, any Finals game is going to carry a lot more weight than anything else. If it's a series-clinching game in the conference finals or Finals, then that trumps pretty much everything. Can you honestly sit there and say Rondo's Game 2 in the ECF was better than Larry Bird's triple double in Game 6 of the '86 Finals. If Lebron put up that Larry Bird game tonight (29/11/12) and the Heat won, ESPN would call it the greatest performance in the history of basketball.Originally Posted by dreClark
