Man I just dozed off for less than an hour and then I see this Nets deal for Deron and my mouth just dropped! I wasn't expecting that at all! I thought he'd wait and be one of the drama-filled contract players in the 2012 free agent class! He didn't like some of Sloan's coaching...boy let's see how he deals with Avery Johnson...known to rub players the wrong way!!! I wonder if Sloan had knowledge of this trade happening if he'd still retire!
PE-wise, I'm more excited to see Melo's kicks for sure...I think Deron's PEs might be kinda bland...But considering the hottest kicks worn on that team right now are Morrow's use of GR's, it's definitely good to see some Nike PEs there over all the Adi-stuff that had been going on!
Wow @ the EAST getting all these trades to work in their favour!!! Almost seems like the West is a ghost town...could almost see the tumbleweed and dust from right over here in da UK!!!

With all these East stacking moves...it now also makes sense to think that Dwight will jump ship and entertain a Lakers deal after his contract is up.cuz boy his road to a Finals appearance again in this conference just got muddier!!!!

Same thing happened to me when I found out about the trade, Bundy. Very shocked. I heard Deron can't sign an extension until July, so we'll see what happens and see if this will turn into a long term situation.
Can't go wrong with red/white/blue PEs IMO. Melos PEs will be dope too! I just wish Melo went with a different number than 7. Reminds me of Al Harrington lol
I just can't picture Dwight wearing a Lakers uniform. But I also can't picture him staying in Orlando after this season. That team isn't built for him, their more of a outside/inside team that would rather live off the 3. He needs to play for a team depends on him touching the ball first.

might not be a problem, but i doubt they are liking it. since he needs to promote the zigs.. since he's the main guy now for reebok.. i don't think they'd want him to sport oldschool shoes that arent even available to the public in huge quantitiesOriginally Posted by Zyzz
