NAACP Leader Exposed as White Woman in Blackface

I have absolutely no ill will towards anyone who is Trans-whatever... If it makes you happy, and doesn't hurt anyone, then do you... It doesn't effect me and highly likely never will effect... Everyone is weird for one reason or another, some are just easier to notice...

But...

I can't help feel a sense of annoyance that people can't accept themselves for who they are... Every person, not just Trans-whatever people... But I'm the type of person who hates weaves/wigs, unnecessary plastic surgery, tanning booths, and tons of makeup...

^^ Prime example right here. If I recall dude is the same poster who claimed that Blacks should be grateful slavery happened to us. Where is the swift & immediate ban?
Why are racists/white supremacists allowed to rock on here?

Interesting

NAACP Leader Exposed
Jonathan Metzer
June 11, 2015

Suspicions arose Thursday evening when Rachel, along with several associates, watched game four of the NBA Finals. "I just knew something wasn't right and that pretty much confirmed it," longtime friend, Tina Williams said soon after the news broke. "We were in shock. I mean, when she thought 'Bron (LeBron James) had a 'nice-sized' penis, we knew something was wrong. We knew she wasn't one of us." Rachel Dolezal was not available for comment.

I never said that...

I said if you change one thing in history, everything else changes...

I think i should clarify what I meant...

Act how you want, dress how you want, talk how you want, anything and everything... I just don't care...

I don't like people who change their body via plastic surgery for non physical health reasons... If you have saggy boobs, you got saggy boobs... If you have a crooked nose, you have a crooked nose... If you have a penis, you have a penis...

It irks me that people can't accept what nature gave them... This goes for every person alive... no discrimination against race, sex, gender, sexual preferences, emotional preferences, ect...

uhmmm the news said she can't decide to be black all willy nilly. but caitlyn is a national hero.
Even this comparison makes no ******* sense. You'd think ppl would drop it by now.

the double standard here

its not the outcome, its the belief. what happened to breaking down social constructs? gender race isnt real? transgender trasracial is real?

Race ISN'T real, scientifically speaking.

But as it stands, race was forced upon humanity by individuals purposefully trying to establish one race being superior over the other. Slavery incentivized the need to believe that Europeans were superior to their African captives.

Fact is we are all 99.9% genetically identical.

Fact also is we can't just act that the concept of race hasn't brought on divides amongst humanity. The Atlantic Slave Trade happened, slavery is apart of human history now.

We can't conveniently just brush history aside. The inconvenient truths still stand in the way. Nobody who says "we're all one race" is in denial of these things.

But, as far as civil rights go, we cannot spot reduce discrimination, inequality & inequality. Civil rights does not exclusively pertain to the strife of just blacks but all racial & ethnic minorities, including women.

As far as gender goes, ya'll getting into something different. That's a topic for another thread and we cannot compare the issues the LGBT community faces with the issues blacks and other racial and ethnic minorities have faced since the inception of this nation (for black Americans, their challenges pre-date the birth of our nation in 1776 as slavery exited before our nation was officially founded, as far back as the 1600s) . It's not the same, it's not equal. Folks trying to equate the two issues are being outright ridiculous and I refuse to take them seriously.

All that said, Rachel Dolezal is not a black woman. Her experience is not that of a black woman. She may sympathize with the struggles the black community faces in America, but her upbringing was of a privileged, sheltered, white woman.

To that end she has to own that. Period. There is no way of justifying the charade. None whatsoever. She has every right to lend her support to the black community, she has no right whatsoever to conveniently set aside her actual identity as she sees fit.

Truth is, she probably gets a pass from people who know her, her friends. I highly doubt people are that naive. But when she is amongst society, through that lens, she is seen as a white woman and she is afforded all the benefits that intrinsically come with that, benefits blacks aren't given.

Some dreadlocks and a tan doesn't change that.

All that said, Bruce Jenner is not a woman. His experience is not that of a woman. He may sympathize with the struggles the female community faces in America, but his upbringing was of a privileged, sheltered, white man.

To that end he has to own that. Period. There is no way of justifying the charade. None whatsoever. He has every right to lend his support to the female community, he has no right whatsoever to conveniently set aside his actual identity as he sees fit.

Some pumps and a wig doesn't change that.

How does that sound?

Now this would be a good argument when arguing with ppl advocating for the trans community or an actual trans person. Especially given the age Bruce transitioned. Probably could also argue he'll get old white women privileges.

A bit off base in here but the joke has led to an actual thread derail for sure so it's w/e.
