Moments That Made You Realize You’re Washed

Warm towels - that’s what you’re missing out on.

Well I’m always cold so I love the feeling of a nice toasty towel after a shower 😂

Must be one of those things I’ll have to try to understand.

But the process is, you get out of the shower and stand there dripping wet, then go and wheel out the giant towel warmer thing and wait for it to heat like a toaster strudel, then dry yourself off with the warm towel after the hot shower? Or is it for people who like cold showers and ice plunges?

My colleague has one and the way she describes how she uses it, it sounds like its always plugged in.
Its like a fridge, but to keep towels warm.
She uses it when she gets out of the pool.

I got a question, at what age do you think one should stop buying sneakers like Flightposite 1s and certain Jordans? I'm 34 and just can't get myself to buy certain sneakers although the nostalgia makes me want to. I had this conversation with my friends at work and they think at a certain age you look like a fool in certain sneakers.

I hate the stress that some video games give me now. Trapped in a tight space with monsters all around lol.
Just watched a youtube video at this part so I could see what's coming up for the boss.
Also turned up the brightness so that its easier to see (otherwise its dark environments where its only lit up by flashlight) smh

As cgs37 cgs37 said, buy what you like.

Only you can make sure it lines up with your future goals and know what are responsible choices for you.
(But you're an adult, you can do whatever the ... you want!)

Last few years, I've been buying things I've haven't been able to do so in the past, but only for retail lol. Infrareds, neons, etc. Def slowed down now, still have lots I haven't worn. smh.
(no supply/limited, being a student, etc).

Always wear what you like. For me it’s less of a “growing up” issue and more about practicality. The occasions to break out some heat are few and far between. So paying $200+ for multiple pairs of kicks I’ll only wear a handful of times before the midsoles crumble on me is just a waste of money. I tend to avoid the super bright colorways unless I really like the shoes. Foamposites kill my arches so those days are basically done.

Definitely getting the black cement 3s though.

I tried on a pair of Jordans on for the first time in a long time and I can't believe how uncomfortable they are compared to what I wear now new balance vomero etc. But I agree with you with the cw and getting what you like

For me as far as sneakers go, I’ve cut way back from when I was in my youth, but certain shoes will always be in the rotation because they just stand the rest of time for me, 3s, 4s, 5s, 6s, 8s, and certainly 11s. I wear them when the appropriate situation presents themselves, like to the gym, or casual weekend outings (Lowe’s, Bestbuy, etc…)

I'm down to pretty much 1's, Air Force 1's, Dunks, LeBrons, I got some air max bowfins and air max 2016s I think and some running shoes.

On washedness, turned 40 today. i dont even have any injuries although admittedly a tweek where I feel my right achilles (doesnt hurt per say, I just feel it especially when i sprint like in my HIIT class). I was walking up the stairs to work today and instinctively I started making the grunt noises with every step. I was like wtf. It was involuntary.

Also metabolism is no longer metabolizing, got to about14% body fat so can kind of see abs in the morning although a layer of pudge prevails still but def no gut hanging in my shirts or something so happy about that, but had a cheat day yesterday whilst still hitting the gym for an upper body resistance workout and 20 minutes of stairmaster, only about 8k steps for the day, ~4000 calories total and 320g of protein, as I still track on cheat days but I gained 6lbs overnight. I know people say it's only water don't trip, as 6lbs of fat would be 21,000 calories, but still.

I genuinely only play easy to get into, fun games I don't have to spend a lot of time on like Forza and Ratchet and Clank.

Only game I have on my phone is Fruit Ninja. 🥷🏻 Saw someone with NBA 2k though and I’ve been thinking..

The username and avy  :pimp:
(edit: don't rememeber an episode of George say art vandelay, but I remember my wife telling me about it)

Man just buy and wear what you want. Don't let any internet goofy, including NTers, tell you how to be you. You want to use your warm towel, throw on a hoodie and crocs to grab some Starbucks? Do it. These people do not pay your bills, be yourself

just jokes/laughs will be made/had 😂

Originally told my wife we will definitely get a hybrid of some sort when we get a new car so we can save $ on gas.

My decision has changed to variety of different cars since we started car shopping, but I'm leaning to sport sedan that would be a little more fun to drive and can still bring the youngins around. I've always wanted a manual transmission and a sports car of some sort, yet practical.

My wife said I'm going through a mid life crisis since I'm leaning towards the sport sedan now and can't make up my mind... lol. :/

^ I say do it now while you have the itch. Assuming it’s not some financial stretch, have that fun. Many of my buds have transitioned into loving their minivans.
