What do you define emotion as? Having the feeling or Expressing the feeling? If you chose B, then yes women are probably more emotional. But EVERYONE feels something, which is why I don't think women are m ore emotional. They jsut display more emotion.

Nice but it still goes back to the original point. Are women more sensitive through conditioning or by nature? I am sure a man that is essentially a woman is more likely to be emotionally stressed out than a normal male. Because he has been conditioned as a woman and it is ok for them to let their emotions controlt hem. (According to society).Originally Posted by JOE CAMEL SMOOTH

makes sense....we all feel emotions but women are more "overcome" by them.

OP does have a point. Men are becoming more and more feminine these days. I think alot of it has to do with americas push towards "tolerance" and political correctness. People are constantly trying to redefine what a man is due to their own personal iniquities, insecurities and shortcomings. Men should be masculine. That doesnt mean you have to be the biggest, toughest guy in the room, but their are other behaviors and attitudes associated with masculinity such as assertiveness, the way you dress, the way you move and talk etc. Lets be serious. Men behave in a certain way. period. In these modern times guys are soo damn worried about fine tuning themselves to be what some girl wants them to be, that they're losing their essence. If a guy thinks a chick likes pretty boys, joe shmoe will slick back his hair and try to be a pretty boy, if she likes thugs he will throw a bandana on, etc. He never really asks himself what kind of man do I want to be? Their is so much pressure on men to act or behave a certain way that alot of guys just go the safe route and behave in a "watered down" manner. meaning they dont want to come off as too hard or too soft or too sensitive or too insensitive or too assertive or too timid, so they just do the bare minimum in order not to offend anyone (especially women). But what they dont realize is that by doing the bare minimum, they appear feminine or even emotional because their manly brain has been reprogrammed by society that in order to get ahead in life, you have to "give them what they want" even if that means sacrificing their manliness. IMO

If you say men have a higher suicide rate, which you don't actually back up with any statistics what so ever but I'll play along anyway, wouldn't it be logical to think that the men who do commit suicide are the ones who generally don't express themselves enough, hold everything in, and one day snap and decide to end their life because they can't take it anymore?
What does wearing tight jeans have to do with how manly you are? You're feeding in to what society tells you is right and wrong way too much. It's sad that you allow other peoples perceptions to define the world around you. Be yourself, and don't be afraid to. Who really cares what the next person thinks?
This. Women actually attempt suicide far more than men do. It takes a real manly man to blow his face off with a shotgun.
