If you say men have a higher suicide rate, which you don't actually back up with any statistics what so ever but I'll play along anyway, wouldn't it be logical to think that the men who do commit suicide are the ones who generally don't express themselves enough, hold everything in, and one day snap and decide to end their life because they can't take it anymore?
What does wearing tight jeans have to do with how manly you are? You're feeding in to what society tells you is right and wrong way too much. It's sad that you allow other peoples perceptions to define the world around you. Be yourself, and don't be afraid to. Who really cares what the next person thinks?
from what i know about suicide rates men are more goal orientated than women are, so a male who has set his mind to killing himself, more likely than a women will do ahead and do it. women on the other hand who contemplate suicide will think of a way to go out (giving them more reason not to do it) and in the least harmless way...if that makes any sense. women would try to kill themselves from an over dose for example and failing in their attempt, whereas men would choice something more gruesome such as a gun or rope (less likely to fail). also, from what I've read, women would choose an overdose (something less shocking) over a bullet to the head, was because they didn't want to end up looking ugly on their death bed in front of their family and friends... as silly as that may sound i can see why they would say that.
