This dude is so bitter. Have you ever played sports, competitively? I'd find it hard to believe if you have. You are not a real sports if you don't understand someone crying after a game. You honestly just don't get it. Start a thread in S&T about the USA crying about the World Cup game and your problems with it. No one will agree with you.

Blanket statement that holds no water. Some folks are generally happy and don't have anything to cry over. Don't understand the logic in that comment.

It's called forward thinking. I definitely have people I would cry over if I were to lose them.

What does wearing tight jeans have to do with how manly you are? You're feeding in to what society tells you is right and wrong way too much. It's sad that you allow other peoples perceptions to define the world around you. Be yourself, and don't be afraid to. Who really cares what the next person thinks?
from what i know about suicide rates men are more goal orientated than women are, so a male who has set his mind to killing himself, more likely than a women will do ahead and do it. women on the other hand who contemplate suicide will think of a way to go out (giving them more reason not to do it) and in the least harmless way...if that makes any sense. women would try to kill themselves from an over dose for example and failing in their attempt, whereas men would choice something more gruesome such as a gun or rope (less likely to fail). also, from what I've read,  women would choose an overdose (something less shocking) over a bullet to the head, was because they didn't want to end up looking ugly on their death bed in front of their family and friends... as silly as that may sound i can see why they would say that.

Bingo. Nothing blanket about it, and it's not difficult to understand. There's no such thing as "generally happy", the way you make it sound, it's as if there's people out there that are just happy without outside influences that are conducive to happiness, ie good family, good friends, good life, work, hobbies etc.  All have some great inspiration/influence, and if you lose that, you will cry.  If there is someone that's just "generally happy", that's a mental condition.

I see you are speaking about the future, I took the statement as if you were speaking about the present only. Because I was saying that some people's CURRENT lives are so good that they have NOTHING worth crying over. So how can you say they don't have a life? That is my issue with the statement. But I see what you are saying. Thanks for clearing that up.

But I still don't know if I can agree with the statement. I will replace crying (the act) with the feeling of sadness. Because some folks just won't cry or don't have time to cry. Or their ego might be too large to cry. SOme folks just think it is better to hold it in.

^Only word that mattered in your post was ego. OP thinks very highly of himself; he is some type of alpha male that can judge the activities of all other men. Pretty laughable if you ask me. Cannot believe this loser said crying after the World Cup is disgusting

Everyone going in on me is just proving me right. All Trying to diss me instead of seeing things for what it is. I will say that maybe I should just stop be so judgemental. But again, I'm just saying how I see things.

And to dude who said I never played competitive sports....please just shutup. I played baseball, basketball, and football while I was in high school. Not once did I ever cry after a loss. Neither did my teammates. One game I won the championship for my baseball team with the game winning hit. I didn't cry a tear of joy. I've lost playoff games. Never cried. Don't make ignorant comments and assume +#%$.

And to the people who say I am making this statement because of browsing nt. Wrong. I am simply using the common examples on nt Since I am posting on nt

laugh.gif
what I find funny is that people are just reading what I wrote and are feeling offended, so they feel the need to make a smart comment back. Irony at it's finest by nt's finest I suppose. Sounds like a woman to me
