Some of the tidbits in that “article” are a little off-base and “amateurish”. For one, Martin and Tisha were associated with each other years before “House Party” came about, before they (along with Kid N’ Play) all moved out to L.A. Martin was going out with Lark before the show started. The chemistry between the cast was so tight (and contentious at the same time) because there were relatively smaller circles of young black entertainers that ran around together in the 80’s.
