- all ABC wanted to do was pay their bills for 6 seasons and get a bunch of saps to help them......mission accomplished.

Yes I'm a hater

I'm not saying that's not the main reason, but it does seem like the characters who have died or have large importance to the island have something going on the in sideways to know what's going on. I understand you HATE it, but just keep an open mind when you watch it. If you go into it thinking "oh man, here we go again" you'll be pissed off every week until its over. Like i've said, just enjoy what we have left, leave everything up to the writers and THEN if it STILL sucks, you can complain allllllllllll you want within reason. Not much makes sense now because we're still watching it all unfold.

Well said!

The show has always hinted that the dead are important, especially since last season. Christian showed up several times off the island (and can't be MiB); the whispers; Richard wanted that dead DHARMA guy's body to take back with him (and he was wearing the ankh - symbol for eternal life); and Richard's wife, who didn't look like MiB but a real ghost.

I've been expecting them to have some reveals centered around the dead for a while, so I don't think it's just a device to get all the dead characters back for one more appearance.

The alt time showing up now isn't the best and they haven't really been good except for the Sayid one but you have to recognize the creators didn't do a lot of things they wanted to do that was outside they're control(actors getting arrested for drunk driving and having to be killed off, some actors asking to leave, the debacle of S4 and all of the plans scrapped since it got cut in half).

I just didn't like this ep going off what Des centrics usually bring to the season. You gotta look past the flash sideways and look forward to on island events. We all knew the flash sideways were gonna play some role in the grand scheme of things.
who got a DUI and who wanted to leave and had to be killed off?

Cynthia Watros (Libby) and Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia). I think Daniel Dae Kim (Jin) also got one, but obviously didn't get killed off. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Mr. Eko) got arrested for something, but I don't think it was a DUI.

i think people are sick of the hints. more than half way through the last season and they still tip toe around all these past themes and what not. i always wanted to know more about the alcohol theme. they have thrown all this new stuff on top of the old stuff and it's just kind of annoying. jack is special, Desmond is special, the numbers are special. GET ON WITH IT. the episodes are good. writing is still good. but we have seen most of this before.

there just gonna be a crazy amount of answers in the last 2 episodes and everything will forget about how much they complained.

the mystery of the hatch and how people interacted on the island > time traveling

Yeah, I agree that the answers will hit fast and hard in the last few episodes. The time traveling stuff is definitely not as good as the mystery of the hatch, etc but I mean there was a damn polar bear in the pilot so I already was expecting this show to be on some next level %%$@.

I agree completely.
I was always so intrigued by certain themes that have been brought up, but were never truly discussed.
Times when nycknicks or whoever it was would say "No believe me them drinking alcohol----so important."
Now it seems.....okay......when are we gonna find out the importance of these past occurrences ?

im saying the alcohol stuff was answered it has to do with the state of consciousness

but they havent explained why the state of consciousness is such a huge role in the show

^ Yeah it's weird how fast this year's seemed to fly by. Cant wait for this weeks. Wonder if it's gonna be a typical humorous Hugo episode, or if it's gonna be as dramatic as the previews suggest...

i still want the cabin scene to be explained...
and locke on top of the hatch when the light comes on not being number 1? terrible top 10.
