shame on me for thinking they were going to hold the lead...:{

Same here, I'm over the Pryor experiment. On to the next Q.B

Yeah its looking more and more like it. He is far from being a bum. He has the drive, desire and work ethic. Its just that he does not have the capability it seems to be a NFL caliber QB.

I realize the o-line is busted. But it seems Pryor does not know how to make blocking adjustments, call an audible and when to throw routes. Its more like backyard football with him out there.

That pick to Thomas..I have no idea what he saw there. It also cost the game. It is much better not to be the reason your team won vs. the reason your team lost.

I mean Pryor was never going to develop into an upper echelon QB. The potential as a passing QB just isn't there.

That said, I'd HATE to see people turn their back on Pryor and start with the vitriol.

I don't think there's a better available option out there right now and we could certainly be in worse hands. I'd entertain the idea of Mike Vick, only QB I can even think of, might not even be an upgrade.

Let the fans overact, the FO and coaching staff are going to continue to watch Pryor develop while addressing other needs and evaluating the QB talent that will be coming through the college ranks.

I think we can win with Pryor, just not without additions to the current personnel.

Any1 think Pryor's injury (mcl sprain) affecting his play? And ready for Houston to see how this perform against case

If the Roethlisberger wanting to be traded story has any real legs do you think Reggie would try to pursue him in the offseason? And would anyone be opposed to it?

Only a handful of teams I can think of Raiders, Vikings, Browns, Jaguars, Buccs, maybe the Rams would be in it.

That wouldn't make any sense.  You are more than a QB away and Roethlisberger is old- that would be an Al Davis move.

If you need a QB at the end of the season, just draft one.

Ben wouldn't want to come here anyways, it's a far worse situation than Pitt, he wants to go win. If he gets moved, I bet it's to Tampa Bay.

Reggie wouldn't bring Incognito in either he's all about high character guys.

It was more for discussion than anything else. The seasoned QB vs trying to hit on a QB in the draft.

Funny how you said if you need a QB just draft one as if it was just as easy as that.

Well this is supposed to be one of the deepest QB drafts in years.  Even if you skipped this year you are in the middle of a rebuild and should have a couple more chances to get a QB through the draft.

I'd bring in Vick cuz it looks like Foles is gunna start for a while now.
If by some stroke of luck we get Bridgewater I'd shed tears

Man, I don't want Vick here at all :lol Dude has been a shadow of himself the past few years and he'd get ****** up playing behind our line. It'd be a waste of time and salary IMO. He doesn't make the team a contender especially without a number 1 receiver and most likely no franchise running back next year. If we go after a QB it should be through the draft (and most likely will since Reggie is so hellbent on building the team's future through the draft), there isn't anyone on the market that will make this team that much better. EVERY position on offense needs an upgrade outside of Veldheer and Wiz and maybe Watson depending how he looks being back from the injury these next few weeks.

There's no elite QB available unless we draft top 3. Maybe bring in Sanchez or Schaub cheap and continue to build the O line and defense. Not sure what other QB will be available. Just not Vick please

Maybe Bilichick gives Tom Brady the Wes Welker treatment.....lol. then sign him. j/k

I agree that the team is more than just a QB away. But it is amazing what impact a franchise QB has on a team. Things seem to just come together once that position is solidified. There are definite anomalies to that. But it just seems that way.

That being said. Pryor should definitely be starter the remainder of the year barring injury or a complete meltdown.

I'm also not sold on this whole QB age thing.

Sure everyone wants that 8-10 year franchise QB....But who would be opposed to a 2-3 year plan QB if it means making it to the SB?

Flame suit on....but I'd take Jay Cutler. Cannon of an arm. can make every throw. Head case, but that IDGAF attitude I like. That and it would piss off the Chargers/Broncos fans even more to see him back in the AFC airing it out on their arses.

I like his I'm an A-Hole demeanor. Some of the stories with him remind me of stories I have heard of Ken Stabler. LOL.

Cutler's not available.

Of guys who are/might be available Vick and Schaub are the only guys in the entire League that I'd even consider and neither is a clear upgrade over TP.

Even on his best day TP has his flaws but he's already demonstrated that he has the ability to win us games.

Incognito question was purely hypothetical, would yall take on the baggage knowing damn well exactly how much better he'd make us.

His contract is up at the end of the year. Has yet to sign an offer from the Bears.

I'd sign Incognito for little if any guaranteed money. Let him know he is disposable. If he acts up....Bye bye. no sweat.

Teams just have tape on TP now. They know his weakness and tendencies....this team needs a whole new offensive unit...so unless its a no doubt HR QB, man just start building that Oline with draft picks and free agents.

Depending on how Hayden bounces back...we could have had Lotulelei...dude is ballin right now...smh...

Niners built that squad on the line...them SB Giant teams were built on the line...gotta draft good linemen to be successful in the league

I like the way Jennings runs.

But I agree on building from the line-out.

Also, contrary to the reports that surfaced during camp. I think D-Moore has been having a pretty good season and putting the effort out there.
