spacedoodoo spacedoodoo i should add...if you want Sean Payton to be the O.C. in Seattle, that's totally different. i think he'd be great in that role. as long as he lobbies for the dame OL :lol:

I know seattles offensive problems are strictly on the line and not russ.

I just think Payton is a great offensive minded coach and Russ would flourish in his system.. that's it.

DSA, in about 3 years you'll be calling carroll "overrated" too.

Every coach is "overrated" to y'all that doesn't have the initials BB.
 
Too soon for Steve to be sought after. That debacle at SC is still fresh.

which is 100% fair. i'm not saying he's trash.

maybe i misread the start of this, but he is not a great coach. i think overall, coaching in this league isn't great, which is why we get so much bad football. is payton a great coach relative to the other coaches in this league? sure. but in the larger picture, i don't think he's a great coach.

sorry, that's probably how i should have said it instead of "overrated AF" :lol:

i think it's BB and Pete Carroll and then there's a drop off where you have Tomlin, Payton, Andy "clock management" Reid...and then it falls of a cliff after that


every week y'all ***** about "bad football" and pin it on rules (or something). but it starts with coaching
 
I'm not trying to single you out DSA. But it seems like on this board no coach is good enough.

I mean **** man, y'all love to call McCarthy and Tomlin overrated.

2 coaches that each have a SB win, multiple playoffs wins, division championships, and a combined 1 losing season (GB went 6-10 in 08)

Like, what more do y'all want lol
