Here's the thing about Byron, D-Lo, and life in general.
If he's going to be great, Byron not playing him enough won't stop him.
Byron can either be his excuse, or an obstacle.
Totally his choice.
If 10 years from now dude is an absolute bust, "Man, he got drafted into effing BYRON SCOTT'S hands" will simply be an excuse.
He's been good so far.. Not great.
And of course, I agree with this.
But being a PG in the league isn't easy. And Byron isn't helping him.
Eventually it gets to the point that you've played in the league long enough that you see things yourself. And a coach may hold you back, but the significance of it diminishes, and you are the player you are.
Our problem, or at least my problem.. Is that Byron is hurting how quickly that happens by acting like an idiot with him
