Mitch...Mitch...Mitch...

Are you busy blazin it up or what? I better hear something good by the end of the day...

This is a complete fail if all he does is move Blake.

I don't care if he "gives away" assets that are all expiring in 28 games anyways, do it to ensure a chance at the top 3, get under the tax, and begin anew next year.

They are trying to one foot in tanking, one foot in competing, and that's how you get stuck standin in the ****** middle. :{

1:41 p.m EST.: Lakers’ Hill still on the block
Will Jordan Hill find a new home before the trade deadline? The Lakers are talking to the Nets, Mavericks, Suns and Cavaliers, according to Sam Amick of USA Today. Here’s the latest from Amick:

Hill looked to be headed for the Brooklyn Nets, who wanted to use their disabled player exception to add more depth down low despite the fact that they’ll take yet another huge luxury tax hit by doing so. But according to a person with knowledge of the situation, the Lakers are now asking for a second-round pick in the deal and it’s safe to say the Nets don’t see that as a fair deal.

MITCH DO THE DAMN DEAL

Part of the thing.. Lakers will be under the luxury tax the next couple of years. So it's not that big of a deal to get under this year.

It's a bonus, but it's not something wildly important this year.

And if you can't get any picks for Hill, Kaman or Pau... Then those trades are pointless.

And keeping those 3, still does not make us better than a 25 win team.

On the other hand trading Blake for Bazemore & Brooks gives us two cheap reclamation projects, and does keep us from winning a couple of games.

There you go, talk yourself from the ledge.

I was wondering why it was so necessary to make these trades for nothing but salary cap space. This is still a terrible team.

Yeah, I think the fanbase just wants something to happen... because it's the most excitement we'll be seeing for a while. Even if it's a trade for nothing.

But it doesn't look like the Lakers are landing any decent picks out of this, and this team is pretty ****** as is. It's not the worst thing to stand pat.

but trading those 3 brings us closer to a 20 win team

But really, this team doesn't need all that much help to make that happen. I think we all can see us winning around 23-25 games total with this team as is.

We do keep Jordan Hill's Bird Rights in the offseason... So playoff teams can still get him.

Damn... Hill is pretty good player man I thought for sure some contender would be willing to give up a second. IDC if its in 2032 just give us something and get rid of these guys!
