**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Wolves have a lot of defense.

But one of the dumb things for them so far to do (much to our benefit) is let Gobert go 1 in 1 even if he’s more than capable. It allows the Lakers to pass into AD and clear out.

A weird decision for them so far.

Why do you guys think this starting lineup is going to change? It’s been 3 games and they’re 2-1…y’all can’t be serious

Not sure how hard they need to be fouled to get a foul call.

DLo and Rui within a minute. Clear fouls in front of the ref

Posting that Dennis does not move the needle but suggesting Jakob Poeltl does is A1 quality trolling 😂
Lol when you look at it from an individual standpoint using statistics as your only means of analysis, then sure, a casual basketball observer would likely think a Poeltl deal by itself wouldn’t move the needle for the Lakers any more than a Schroder deal would.

But when one gets their mind out of a tunnel vision and sees that the trade proposal also involved Dejounte Murray coming to the Lakers in addition to Poeltl, then it's obvious even to the casual observer that Murray and Poeltl moves the needle much more than a Schroeder-Hachimura combination would.

Those fouls would have been huge. 2 on Gobert in the first and then just keep going at him with AD.

Instead 0 fouls.

Alrighty then.

Why is it always Rui that matches up three seconds too late and it leads to a basket or foul every game?
