**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

At this point just gonna have to see what happens the next few weeks.

No clue what the FO will do.

Hopefully we can win tonight.

i saw the thunder were favored by 3.5 now insread of 1.5 and knew someone was out

thought it would be vando or reaves but then i see the thread jumped 6 pages and knew it was worse 🤣

since lebron is out they must only be trying to get into the play in. no more of this 5th-6th seed talk

Yes, the DNP's in must win games to get us out of 13th place will be hard to replicate.......

These two are so great, so elite, we're in 13th ****ing place. HOW COULD WE EVER REPLACE THAT?!?!?!?!?!?!

13th Place (AKA 3.5 games from the 5th seed). Had the roster been what it is now that wouldn't be the case.

The other option is what? trade AD & Bron for first round picks & middle of the pack players that will keep us in basketball purgatory? And wait for a FA to sign here (the same fanbase that has been calling the owner the worst in all of sports, the GM the worst in the league)

That's the plan to dominance??? the same one that had us losing for damn near a decade. Let's say in a hypothetical we literally reverse the AD trade today, All our picks back, BI, Lonzo, etc etc.... where does that leave us. Is that anywhere near a championship team?

"We're a Championship contender"

But we sad losing Jay Huff and argue over bein the 13th seed or a game out of the 10th seed.

Y'all are right. I change my vote. Let's give AD an extension right now. 5 year deal thru the decade. Laker for life AD. 40 games a year. 👍

4 Locker room cancers ,2 of which only have titles cause they played w/ the 2 of greatest players of the current generation. Bad example

The trade LeBron & AD crowd sounding like some Jan 6 capital stormers

It's moreso trade AD. Bron ain't going to get traded unless he asks out and he's 40 years old. The duo is cooked though.

Probably in 13th place because they gutted the team for Russ moreso than injuries.

Injuries Didn’t help. But that’s the catalyst they’re more than the injuries.

The only thing that's been consistent in the Bron era of the Lakers has been him breaking down and when AD got here being his normal fragile self. Can't blame Russ for 2019 or 2021. 2020 was an outlier due to a once in a lifetime pandemic where they both got extra time off. AD been injury prone his entire career and Bron is old. That isn't going to change going forward.

AD needs to finish the season strong and healthy so we can get more value for him this summer, before he misses another 30 games next year and barely plays with Lebron

How many times do we need to see the season play out the same way every year?

Some NTers may think we’re crazy, but you better believe the FO has had many meeting about trading AD. You have to consider it.

How many summers of “AD is training hard, AD is shooting a thousand jumpers, AD’s goal is to play 82 games, AD revenge szn”…..then gets hurt again

Then he has a good game and people say “oh who wants to trade him now?”
Then he gets hurt again

Sounds like the org is holding AD out, he's actually healthy. ****ing idiots playing him last night when tonight was the MUCH more important game.

lmao **** dont make sense man
like common sense. okc game more important and not only that more winnable so the stress load wouldnt have been as bad today (well at least theoritically but no SGA i would think so)

them folk running **** their weird man lmao (except the 2 little buss bros that do the scouting)

This is the organization we should put our trust and faith in.
