**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

I thought long off-season and early playoff exit meant AD will come back stronger and play like a beast to start this season. Instead he came out passive and soft and eventually got hurt again.

Is he even a top 15 player anymore?

The time between being eliminated by the Suns and starting training camp was the equivalent of being eliminated in the WCFs in a normal season. Combined with his injury history and the short-turnaround from the bubble, and well yeah.

This is getting to be too much. They gonna have to pause the season for 2 to 3 weeks...

But XMAS day games are coming so we know they won't

Come on man enough excuses

He played like 40 games last year. Had 3 months off mid season before bubble. Didn’t travel in bubble. Finished first week of June. Started October. 3 full months while coasting first 25 games. That’s enough rest

That news legit sucks, in my opinion, and here's why: He's going to be out 4 weeks and we'll still do terrible. Come trade deadline, we'll be a play-in team, if that. So we desperately make a move that's not needed, because the move that needed is trade high for AD now. Too late now because he's injured, so we'll make a move that doesn't benefit us, and possibly even hurts us.

There is a zero percent chance that we trade AD anytime soon.

do they replace games on nba tv if a game is postphoned or do they just not show anything?

Don't even know who's available to critique this lineup.
Not looking good. But hopefully fizdale thinks outside the box and actually plays the 2 way players. Nothing to lose

If only we had won games vs thunder etc
