**LA LAKERS THREAD** Sitting on 17! 2023-2024 offseason begins

Ya I don’t know why people don’t understand this.
When we made the Russ trade, that’s equivalent to going into a casino, putting your life savings on 12 and spinning the roulette wheel. If it lands 11 instead, you can’t ask “hey so how can I get my money back?”

it was a huge gamble

we had kcp and kuzmas medium sized contracts. First round pick. Cap flexibility. Carusos medium sized contract. We bet all that on number 12 at the basketball casino.

We're sitting ourselves up to go eight consecutive years with no first-round pick

2019, 2022-25( or potentially 2026) are a part of the AD trade through picks and swaps
2020 was part of the Dennis Schroeder trade
2021 was part of the Russell Westbrook trade

We went all in and got the 2020 chip for Kobe.

I'm ok with that.

But we gonna be trash till around 2028 maybe.

If it’s just a knee contusion, that brittle ***** will be alright.

This is always been the frustrating part about Anthony Davis. For all the theatrics, there's a decent chance he plays next game lol

I remember during the finals in the bubble I thought AD toward his Achilles in game 5 only for him to come back and play great in game six. She was on the ground writhing in pain and was fine. 48 hours later. I think he has a low pain threshold for professional athlete

He definitely has a low pain threshold. He should only be out for a couple games max though with a contusion.

There's nothing to blow up. We have no draft capital for the next half decade. We're not trading LeBron (not should we), ADs trade value is at an all-time low and nobody wants Westbrook, especially with him making $47m next season.

This was always the risk when we went all in with the AD trade and this is part of the reason why the pelicans were so adamant about getting draft picks so far to the future. At least we got one championship out of it, most teams who go all in get nothing

you can trade AD for expiring contracts and draft picks if he keeps regressing. Then you start over with THT and HBK when Lebron retires lolll

It's not debatable. Pau played in an era with Duncan, Garnett, Wallace, Stoudemire, Nowitzki, Bosh, and won 2 titles as the 1A to Kobe in back to back to back trips to the NBA Finals. And I know I'm missing more bigs on that list.

AD ain't topping that.
But somehow AD a top 75 player and Dwight, that took his team to the finals and lost vs said Great laker big, is not.

What a time.

Lol...all I know is you come here with this nonsense.

Be ready later on...
What nonsense? I'm showing love to Pau. And surprisingly showing love to Dwight.

And think he got screwed for top 75 for weak *** AD.

Lol be ready when?

No one scared of him anymore lol

hope the injury isn’t too bad tho

**** not really his fault that he injury prone but damn bruh lol
