Shams:
The 76ers are ramping up their efforts to spark multi-team trade scenarios to move Simmons, sources said, and a fresh pool of teams has emerged as potential destinations.

The New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers are among the teams interested in Simmons, sources said, although it’s unclear how much traction Philadelphia truly has on any move.

Simmons has yet to play this season after reporting late to the 76ers’ training camp and informing teammates, coaches and front-office officials that he is not mentally ready to rejoin the team on the floor and needs to receive help. Simmons has sought help from a personal mental health specialist and gave the 76ers’ team therapist permission to speak with his own therapist, sources said.

But it’s clear 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey has his eyes set on a potential trade scenario to ship Simmons out of Philadelphia — whenever a rival team can meet his asking price. The 76ers are currently asking teams for an All-Star-caliber player and/or multiple first-round draft picks for Simmons, sources said.

Now that we’ve hit on the two largest topics hovering around this NBA season, let’s take a look at more across the league.
Detroit Pistons

Jerami Grant is one of the most sought-after players in a potential trade, with the Lakers and Trail Blazers among the teams pursuing the Pistons’ versatile forward, sources said. Grant will miss extended time with torn ligaments in his right thumb, but that is not expected to impact his trade market. Dozens of teams call the Detroit front office about Grant each week, and sources said the team is open to a possible deal.

Grant has one season remaining on his deal after this campaign and is eligible for a four-year extension worth up to $112 million in the offseason. Interested teams understand Grant will command most of his maximum salary in an extension next summer, a scenario similar to when the Nuggets made the trade for Magic forward Aaron Gordon with a significant interest to complete a subsequent extension when the sides were eligible to negotiate.
Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers are hopeful forward Trevor Ariza (ankle surgery) will return within the next one-to-two weeks and are hopeful guard Kendrick Nunn (bone bruise, knee) will return in January, sources said. Both players were expected to have important, potential starting roles for the Lakers this season, but have yet to play as they rehab toward full recovery.

Bron potentially being sick of Westbrook already and dealing him for Simmons would be hilarious.

This team does need an athletic wing. :nerd:

As usual. Teams using the lakers as the boogie man.
0 traction in the Simmons news.

would I trade Westbrook for Simmons though. Hell yes! Same player better defense. Less stupid 3s

Jerami grant also brought up in lakers news. Again I don’t think the team will trade THT. Zero chance. Jeanie believes in him and for them that’s like trading the next young star.

again I’d trade for him in a heart beat. Well maybe not that much given he’s out for that much time unless it’s a home run.
If only we had one more 10 million dollar player. White fit preferably

By January. The lakers will be rumored to be top 3 trade partners for Lillard mccollum grant Simmons turner sabonis lavert shroeder jaylen brown. Watch.
