its wild how much less production the lakers wouldve gotten with rondo than with schroder.

I love Rondo (We wouldn't have won the championship without him) and I'm not trying to sound like sour grapes but people forget how objectively bad he was in his two stops before the Lakers and the two regular seasons prior to the bubble. He had the worst net rating of any Lakers rotation player last regular season. He played awful in the regular season and he was always hurt.
This is why the bubble run was so unexpected, He came out of nowhere and started playing his best basketball but you can't expect that a type of production on a night in, night out basis in the regular season. This is why the Lakers Where's the ideal situation for Rondo. We were good enough to put him on ice during the regular season and only use him during the playoffs. The Hawks thought they were getting playoff Rondo for 82 regular season games
